Ordered these for a vintage-themed wedding I was invited to. I wanted to get a nice pair of shoes like this that weren't going to cost me like $70+. Originally I had figured I'd buy them for the event and then maybe return them, however after receiving them, there's no way I'd send these back - they're now my favorite fancy shoe! Overall a good quality shoe. It fit just right based on the recommendations, and the shoe itself looks very well made. There might be some minor imperfections on the stitching in some spots, but this isn't a $100+ shoe and you're only going to notice if you have the shoe right in someone's face. And if you've got your shoes in people's faces, I got questions I probably don't want the answers to. I did see some complaints about there being a strong chemical smell about them when they arrive, and I can say that this is true. Almost like fake leather smell? I noticed it out of the box, but I didn't notice it at all while wearing them, so I don't feel like this is much of an issue unless you're indoors and in a small and poorly ventilated room. I purchased them in October and have worn them twice and the smell is gone now. As for comfort, I can't say how these would perform for dancing because I didn't, however I can say that they are comfortable enough to wear for a full day so long as you're not constantly on your feet. Think like standard office sort of walking. Anything more than that and you're probably going to have some sore feet - especially if you're not used to walking in shoes that have a slightly more accentuated heel. I would definitely recommend getting some inserts if arch-support is a must-have. Overall good for the price and good quality, they'll definitely draw some attention or add a little flair to your outfit.

These leather wingtips are absolutely amazing. They fit really nicely the black and white Leather seems to be very durable, and the colors are vibrant and shiny. I’m usually sketchy about buying brands of shoes that I don’t know because I have a size 15 foot, but these fit wonderful. I will add that If you have to buy a wide size shoe, I would not recommend this

I have been taking ballroom lesson for a couple years and am an intermediate swinng/jitterbug dancer. I have wore these shoes to two swing dances. Loved them for this purpose. Create the look and they seem durable for this purpose. I usually wear 9.5 shoe, sometimes a 10, so I ordered a 9.5. The shoes were very snug so I stretched them a bit, water in baggie then put in freezer. That helped some so I wore them around the house for a couple days with an extra pair of socks which resolved the problem. Could have returned and bought larger size but they were close and I wanted them for the weekend. Have had no other problem and get many compliments. Would buy again, just a 1/2 size larger. Great for swing dances, move well on dance floor...even got 2nd place in the danceoff in these shoes.

These are exactly what I needed for a Roaring 20s event I'm going to. Let me address some of the issues brought up in other reviews: - Yes, they look exactly as pictured. - Yes, they run small and narrow. I normally wear a 7.5 US, so I ordered and 8 US, and while they'll work, I suspect an 8.5 US would have been perfect. - Yes, they have a slight chemical smell. That's to be expected from any synthetic leather product. It's not overpowering, and it will dissipate after a few days. - Yes, they will wear out fairly quickly. At this price point, I don't expect to get a pair of shoes I'll be wearing repeatedly for years on end. I expect they'll be great for occasional use.

Got these for a Roaring 20s theme high school dance for my son. They fit and looked great. Very flexible shoes for the occasion. He said he liked them a lot and is going to find another occasion to wear them before he grows out of them. They barely came on time (the day of event) from Staten Island NY to California. There was a 3day shipping delay, but they showed up just in time. I would recommend these wingtip oxfords. 👍

These shows have started to fall apart, but I've literally been wearing them every day as I bike to work through the January Chicago snow. I got them on October 31st, and they have lasted three full months of constant, daily wear. My advice, if you are sensible if to spend four hundred bucks on some Red Wings. But if you are not sensible, it's honestly fine to drop what amounts to ten dollars on month on these. I was worried that they'd be costume shoes, only made to be worn out once or twice, but like I say they are sturdy as all hell. And obviously they look fantastically sharp, and I've gotten a ton of positive comments on them.
