I proposed to my fiancé with her ring in this box. The ring came with a great quality box originally but it was very big and bulky, so hiding it was a problem. I found this box online and it didn’t disappoint. It’s small enough to hide in your pocket and protects the ring very well. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is that it feels more on the fragile side. I feel like it would break very easily if you added any kind of force to it, but it is still in one piece and I feel as long as you are careful with the box it won’t break. For what it is, its great. I'm actually kind of impressed. The hinge is sturdy. The magnet works. Its a wooden box for a ring. Great color and there's no rough spots which I was expecting. Only two issues and they don't mean anything to anyone who is just looking for a nice walnut ring box. The first is there's only a bevel on the hinge side. It should be on both. I think anyway. Or have no bevel at all. It doesn't affect functionality at all. The other is that there's a sliver of a piece of wood that broke off during cutting I'm assuming, and the box top and box bottom has an imperfection in the seam. Like I said, these things don't matter. As a wood worker these are the only things I noticed. I would buy this 100x over. It's exactly if not better than I thought it would be. ... show more
