For someone that needs arch support at home with hard wood floors, these are a back saver. There are a few features that really met my needs. Here are a few: suede insole - soft, comfortable and keeps feet from overheating; size 7.5 fit - both width and length were perfect (I generally wear 7.5 shoe size or 38 EU, my feet are wide), the slippers fit well with athletic socks and a little looser without socks (no surprise there) but not annoying loose; base - anti slip feature is great for hardwood stairway, they are not the quietest pair of slippers, however, they are not awkwardly clunky sounding (it would not bother a tenant that lived downstairs, if one existed); finish - the colors (personal preferences here) were appealing as they were earthy and the canvas weave has a more natural feel (it doesn’t feel coarse or abrasive) and lastly quality - in my opinion, these are quality slippers and I am considering purchasing a second pair. Value is in the eye of the beholder - but they are worth the investment considering the lack of back pain benefits. ... show more

Great arch support. Quality is top notch and the durability of the shoes is amazing. You can’t go wrong buying them. I like the cushion of the insole too. I normally wear orthopedic shoes because as I age, my feet get less resilient after being on them for too long but they are so expensive so I thought I’d try these. I am not disappointed. Fantastic! I usually don’t write reviews, but I have to say this shoe is extremely comfortable. I have size 8 wide foot because of my bunions so normally I will wear an 8 1/2 if wide isn’t available. The toe box of this is wide enough that 8 fits comfortably. The suede and inner fabric feels so soft on my skin and the metatarsal and arch support are phenomenal. Arch support is great; the thick soles feel good and supportive. The insides are soft and comfortable and not hot. I am very happy with these slippers. Took one star off because they are really wide (I have the mediums); they are bit 'sloppy' to walk in. That does make the 'slip-on-slip-off' easy. I'd prefer a more snug fit but a pair of socks could fix that. Unless you have very narrow feet and don't like sloppy slippers, you will really like these. ... show more
