Over the past several months my feet have been aching, and my heel hurting so much that I could only be on my feet for an hour or so before I had to sit down and use an ice pack. I researched the issue and determined that it was plantar fasciitis. In searching for suitable footwear for around the house I came across this Walk-Hero product and decided to take a chance. At 1st, they felt too hard and rigid and almost hurt my high arch, but I stuck with it. Within days I began to notice that my feet hurt less and less. This suggested to me that they are working as advertised. I wore them constantly during my 3 day holiday baking and cooking marathon, and I was amazed what a difference they have made! I was on my feet for 12-16 hours and yet my feet didn't hurt. Finally!!! That speaks volumes to me! The inside of the shoe in the upper portion that covers the top of the foot has a soft velvety material inside the shoe that feels good, and helps keep the shoes from slipping off my feet. The soles are firm yet flexible, made of some type of rubber, I assume. They are designed so they can be worn outside, which is nice when I take my dog out to potty. I wish the outer fabric was something other than the canvas and that there were more color choices, but those are strictly cosmetic. My only other comment is that the ad suggests you order a size smaller. I only went down a half size smaller, but wish I had stayed with my standard size 8 shoe. Overall, they are very effective for my feet. I wear them day and night indoors and am so pleased they have resolved my foot pain issues!

These are only suitable while wearing socks because the fabric coated rubber begins to smell after they have been worn a few times. However, when you are wearing socks, this same fabric covered rubber pulls at the socks. This feels a little weird on your feet like the shoes working the socks off your feet. If you could wear them barefoot, they are comfortable.

I wear a 9.5 shoe and was thrilled to find half sizes available. The fit is perfect. The arch support is just the amount of support I need and the soles are not squishy soft but cushion my sensitive feet from my hard tile floors. The lip at the back of the shoe is just enough to hold them in place, but is low enough to let me slip them off when I want to.

I wear a size 8 and I purchased the same size. They fit good except my left foot whick is the bigger and flatest foot. Just a smidge tight across the top. When i first put them on my left foot is uncomfortable but as soon as I walk around, I dont notice it. Love the blue color. I took peoples advise and wear a very thin sock with them so my feet wont sweat

They fit and look nice. I really like the gray color and they're great to wear with dressy and casual clothing. But I will wear them mainly for short errands and doctor appointments only as they feel heavy with each step. To be fair I do have mobility issues and only weigh 73 pounds due to poor digestion so that may play a role in the heaviness with walking. Otherwise I love the color, material and style.
