5’7” and the size 2 is too short for a wide leg style. It hits just above the ankle. Also, some parts of these pants are very cheap… the waist button is cheap plastic that rattles and I’ve seen better quality zippers at the dollar store.

I've been struggling to find a new pair of jeans for months, getting more and more frustrated. I NEED stretchy jeans. I won't suffer thru rigid jeans anymore, I want comfy stretchy jeans I can eat and potentially sleep in, if the mood arises. That said, I'm tired of stretchy jeans that look like jeggings. I'm picky, what can I say? I originally bought these jeans 6 weeks ago. They were the perfect fabric, stretchy and forgiving but looked rigid. However, they were just big enough that they obviously didn't fit right and were a few inches too short. They didn't come in a smaller size, so I returned them but continued to think about them often. I kept checking to see if they started offering a smaller size. They didn't. After spending roughly $700 on various jeans and returning them, I decided to repurchase these and just have them tailored to fit my waist, high waters be damned. Lo and behold, the second pair (same size)(and I haven't gained weight) is smaller and longer than the first! Yippee! Anyway, is they don't fit, try buying a different pair. They're worth it. love these jeans so much they replaced my favorite jeans! I'm 5'3 118lbs and ordered a size 2. the bottom comes right to the top of my foot so they are not long and dragging but not short to look like a flood is coming. the stretch is perfect so they do not start to lessen though out the day but after that 3rd beer they give you a little breathing room. They are the best. trust me ... show more

    • SMELLS HORRIBLE
I needed these for my sorority function, (black jeans were required for that day) when I received them they smelled like a factory and I thought if I washed them that they would smell better. I washed them 4 times in one day and they smell never faded, it made the blankets I washed with it also smell bad. It didn't matter if I washed them on hot or cold the smell never faded and I refused to put them in my closet because I did not want my closet to smell like the jeans. I had to wear these jeans to my event and I felt so self conscious about the smell the entire day. I ended up throwing the jeans away because I couldn't figure out what to do. ... show more

I love my light wash jeans by this brand so much. I sized down by one size in the black and the only thing I don’t like is they are much shorter which doesn’t look great. I’d suggest to go with your usual size even if they are a bit looser so the length is better. I’ll be purchasing more colors soon. ... show more
