These shoes are so much cuter and comfier than expected. I am a true 6 1/2 and I ordered these in a 6 based on other reviews, and they fit PERFECTLY. They seem very well made and I can't wait to wear them. I purchased the printed black ones with the gold leaves. The tongue of the shoes has a different print, which is super cute and matches the print on the strip up the back/heel of the shoe. And the inside is solid black print, which at first I thought was weird, and once I put them on, they were so cute that it didn't matter at all and didn't seem weird. I wear tons of Vans and Converse, and these will fit right in and hold their own for uniqueness and style. LOVE!

I feel like I'm 14 again! Throughout the 80's I wore nothing but Converse & Converse knockoffs, I loved nothing more than a kooky print or color on some high tops. I haven't had such fun wearing shoes in years! But I don't have to tell you about how cute they are, that part you can see in the photos. The fit is about as close to Converse as you can get, perhaps a little wider in the toe box to make them a little more comfortable. So, whatever size you wear in Converse, get that size in this brand too. No arch support, just like Converse, so if you have plantar fasciitis or other foot issues you may want to consider adding an ortho insert for long-term wear. The soles are nice and flexible & don't require any breaking-in period, though the canvas uppers are fairly stiff and will loosen up over time. I felt like the stiffness made it look & feel awkward to lace them all the way up to the top, so I skipped the last aglet & they looked/felt just terrific. I absolutely LOVE these shoes. They make me feel like I'm having more fun just when I'm hanging around the house doing the same things I'd do in flip flops!
