I bought these for my daughter for school. SHE LOVES THEM! I am so glad she didnt want a 60+$ pair of shoes and settled for these, same style as converse, she loves the all black, and they are 11$!!!! such a win! they are super durable and the thickness and cushion is just the same as a $60 pair of shoes. They are not made for slip resistance but they are super grippy on the bottom sole

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had multiple pairs of Converse as a teen but haven't felt like they were worth the money as an adult, so I haven't had Converse in years. These shoes are fine Converse alternatives. They look good, and the quality seems decent, at least frm trying them on and walking around the house. But I returned both pairs I ordered due to size. I'm typically a size 7.5 in women's shoes, although it's not uncommon for a size 8 or 7 to fit me well. With no half sizes available in these, I ordered size 7 first, which felt a bit too tight and I wouldn't want to do too much walking in them. So I tried a size 8 next, which feel and look big. They were big enough to be uncomfortable to walk in. I ended up deciding to order a pair of actual Converse instead, which do come in size 7.5 and are currently on sale for under $60 instead of the $75 - $80 I usually see them for. These shoes seem fine otherwise, but I don't feel like the lower price tag is worth wearing a wrong size shoe.
