I included a lot of photos with this review because this outfit is a bit different and I wanted to provide the best representation of its design as possible. Regarding the color of the fabric, I would consider it a bubble gum pink; very bright and light. The feel of the fabric itself is my favorite part of the ensemble. The material is soft, stretchy, and very breathable. Regarding size, this is both a very flowy outfit and it runs large. If you are on the fence about how to order, go down a size. The things that set this outfit apart for me were the edges and the cut of the pants. The hems and cuffs are both raw cut and finished. Put another way, they left the raw edges of the fabric exposed, but double sewed all the edges above the raw edge so it cannot fray or run. The cut of the pants is similar to harem pants; the crotch hangs down inches below the natural inseam. Personally, I find that cut to be unflattering because it causes material to bunch up around my bum and crotch. I will, however, note that if you are blessed with a larger than average posterior (AKA the big booty) these pants give you tons of extra fabric, which equates to more comfort. I would definitely recommend this set to women who have trouble getting bottoms that have enough room around their hips and waist. That is one area where this design shines. Finally, I will point out the side of the top on this ensemble is wide open. That is another reason I feel this is an at home outfit. While you can pair this with a tank top and/or bra wit cover the gap, it's a style I prefer to reserve for lounging at home. In the end, I would recommend this as pajamas or loungewear because that is how it looks on me. I would encourage women who are looking for clothing with extra room around the hips, waist, and derriere to give this outfit careful consideration because the cut is very generous in that area.

This is a dupe for the Free People hot shot relaxed set. The material is cottony, soft, stretchy, lightweight, not see-thru, and washes well. Minimal shrinking and fading after washing in cold and tumble dry on low. The fit is oversized. I'm a size 12/14, and got the large. The top is straight and boxy, with side slits and large arm holes (meant to be worn with a sports bra). The pants are harem style, with dropped crotch, side pockets, and a wide waistband. The first time i pulled them up over my narrow hips, I heard stitches popping even tho the fit was loose. But haven't noticed any issues with stitching after the first wash. One star off because of the stitching (don't know how long it will last). And even tho material is soft, it doesn't drape well. Some areas stick straight out making the boxy fit unflattering.

This is a great two piece and I thought there was nothing that could be fixed about it until…..I seen the middle area! 😂 it’s such a great, flowy, breathable and relaxed outfit. However, I’m sorry but the way th middle is made makes you look funny there when standing or walking. You can’t miss it. I tried pulling the capris way up like high waisted but it doesn’t help. I gave these five stars but if I had to judge that area alone; it would be a one star. Even taking the picture i couldn’t help to laugh. The color is awesome; these are true to size and fun to wear….. but that one part! Fix that company; please!! If this is some new trendy style then I am certainly out the loop on that. For reference: I am 5’8 and 190#. (195# back on short 6 days of prednisone & an added surgery). Longer legs w/a shorter torso; inseam 33. About a U.S. 12 in pants and medium/large in shirts. 38C. Losing prednisone weight; 13# left to go, last bit in my belly/hip area. Shoe size runs 7-8 US size. For hats, I feel like I have a big head so if one fits; that’s a bonus!😏 I have an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation. Some days worse than others. I try to follow the size charts given per each item individually. Between the surgery and my autoimmune disease that is inflammatory; my body is super angry and not in the shape I was getting after a previous 100# weight gain with prednisone. I loved this on the model in the photo and when I received it found the outfit as described. I really like it's comfort and "Free People" style. I want to buy another set in another color. For reference, I'm about 5'2" and weigh 105 so the XS size was my choice. It fits as I had hoped. The cotton knit fabric is mid-weight and should hold up to washing. I tend to dry most of the clothes I want to last on hangers - I live in a dry climate and will do so with this set. Waistband elastic is plenty sturdy and roomy pockets on the pants. As another reviewer noted, the finish hems at the neck, sleeve, blouse bottom and pants cuffs are cut open in all places but the vertical seams. This is part of the style for this outfit. Also note that the pants are cut and sewn with a U shaped crotch - as others have mentioned. I am sad to say that this "look" probably won't be good for some figure shapes.

This is a cute and fairly current-feeling set; the dropped crotch on the pants gives them a little more flair than standard jersey bottoms. The ribbing of the tank's neckline and sleeves is split at the outer edges, which I thought was a flaw at first, but now I think it's just another detail to give the set a bit of an edge. The washable cotton makes these pieces so easy to take care of, and breathable, too. However, because of the cotton fabric and elastic waistband, this still feels like it falls into Athleisure territory, rather than something I'd wear to work. It's a great outfit for lounging around, and wearing to yoga, though, and I find it extremely comfortable. At 5'2" and a US Women's 8, the Medium fits well, even after washing and drying.
