I used it for my civil ceremony and I wouldn't have had it any other way. It actually kept me warm enough on its own and I definitely recommend it. I ended up gaining some weight so most of my clothes size is unset at the time, but I did order a 2x to be safe , and it was perfect. The only complaint that I have against this dress is that there is a seam down the front if you wear it with the wrap in front. Not super noticeable, but makes it seem like you are wearing it backwards, but as a reversible dress this feels like a weird thing to have. I originally ordered a large and that ran way too big on me so I ordered a medium instead. I loved that it could be styled two different ways and how the flow on the bottom is so different. Flowy, comfortable, and fun! I was nervous about the size after reading reviews, so I sized up. It fits, but it I wish I would have gotten my standard size. I am 5' 9" and 170 pounds. I got a large, and it's a little too big, which makes it look slightly awkward. If you choose to wear the tie in the front, I recommend tape. I wish I'd had tape on hand. I wore this too a wedding and had to make sure everything stayed in place the whole time. I will try wearing it the other way next time. Overall, I'm happy I got it!! ... show more

I am 5ft5inch amd closers to 150lbs most days but I am between 145-150lbs. The small fit really nice and I'm glad I got it because the top won't be as loose. Even though you can tighten it I won't have to worry about a possible exposure 😉
