Pros: 1. The construction is actually really nice, I feel like the fabric is high quality and the stitching is strong and consistent. I got it for a costume, so I likely won't be wearing it more than a few times a year, but I feel like it will hold up for a very long time 2. Some other reviews complained about not getting as many bows as there are in the picture, but I got every bow pictured. I even double checked before writing this review. 3. Even though the color was slightly darker than my monitor, it otherwise looks a lot like the image. 4. I got the customized measurements, and received my dress in less than a month. For FREE custom sizing, that is incredible. 4. The price. Nothing that I own at this price range is even remotely as good of a quality as this dress. Cons: 1. I have a masculine frame, and I am 6'4", so even with the custom size, anything feminine often requires alteration, and this is no exception. I'm planning on adding an inch or two to the straps for a more comfortable fit around the arms. I imagine anyone under 6 feet won't have a problem at all though. I could wear it the way it is, I just really feel like this garment is worth investing the time into making it perfect. 2. The petticoat that it comes with is... bad. I didn't expect to get a petticoat with it at all, so it's not a big deal, but there is very little fabric in the petticoat. I just took it apart and pinned the fabric into the petticoat I already had. 3. All of the bows are held on with safety pins. I don't know if that's standard for lolita dresses, and I guess I could see how it might be useful to be able to take them off or move them, but I feel like having them sewed on would make it more durable in the long run. Ultimately, if you're on the fence about getting this dress, I say you should go for it! ... show more

Looking at the dress, it was just as cute in the pictures. the only thing I didn't like was the removeable bows were safety pinned on but that wasn't a deal breaker. the back added some poof and gives an hour glass look. the dress fit my sister and looked great ... show more

So the item comes as pictured, beautiful dress, looks well made, only reason it just 4 star and not 5 stars is due to the face that I can’t give it 4.5 stars. And the reason for the 4.5 stars, the dress fits very well, the 3XL size fits and lose at that with just enough give to zip and not pinch anything. Only downside is no boobs. None! Makes you look as flat as a board. My friend whom I order the dress for is a bit on the heavy side. But she has boobs. Not huge one or anything. But you can see them, and well. But this dress was so perfect, she just dose not like that it smashes her boobs flat! Length, width, and curves all covered! And size chart get for USA sizes! Just no boobs. It even got here super fast! Set to get here Sept 12 - 17th and got her on Sept 1. Man this dress was a great buy! Wish there was a size bigger to help with the boobs issue. The construction was fine, but seemed as though they took the pattern for a child and just increased the width. The straps are very short, especially given the large size i ordered. Had it not been for the zipper on the side, there's now way i would have been able to take this off without cutting myself out. It is clearly not made for anyone with larger than B/C cups and gives you an awful, square uni-boob appearance. This dress may technically come in 'larger' sizes, but it is not made for larger bodies. The size chart was accurate, though. There are some positives still! (If you fall into the very narrow body type that fits this dress.) The bows are fastened with safety pins, so they are removable and can be re-arranged any way you like. The lacing in the back of the dress does work to better fit your shape, just don't expect to use it like a corset. It comes with a thin petticoat as well. I didn't find any loose threads or ruined seams on the dress. A fine dress, by all means, but do stay away if you're not skinny/flat chested. I decided to take a chance, and am happy the returns process wasn't too difficult. ... show more
