I was having a hard time finding a less formal wedding dress at the wedding shops and it was actually my now husband that showed me this one he found on Amazon of all places. I was hesitant to buy but the reviews were favorable so I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! The quality was just as nice as any dress I had tried on at wedding store but only $200! It fit me like a glove, was comfortable and went well with the red rocks in Sedona, AZ. I am 5'5 and weighed about 165 and wear a 38DD and I ordered an XL It was a little long so I just wore so platform sandals to give me some height and wore a poofy slip to give the bottom a little volume. Being bigger busted, I was impressed "the girls" stayed in (used a little bra tape to give some makeshift support) but otherwise braless. I wasn't sure of the deep cut sheer area showing my cleavage but decided not to alter it however I did have to have seamstress shorten shoulder straps since it's not adjustable. We had ceremony at base of a mountain then I threw the dress in a garbage bag and we hiked up to Cathedral Rock for some sunset photos. When we got to top, I hid behind sheet and changed back into dress and no wrinkles...everything fell back into place because it was quantity material. I did not lace up the back with the extra string for corset look..the didn't look right on me because it dug into my "fluffy" skin which wasn't flattering. I thought it looked better without it for me. All in all, this dress exceeded my expectations and was the perfect dress for an outdoor wedding in Sedona. I could not have been more happy with my dress. It was so flattering. I was comfortable. I wore it all night with no complaints EXCEPT the lack of bustle. There is more train there than I realized! In hindsight, I would have had one added. But it wasnt unmanageable. I struggled while line dancing a bit but it was GORGEOUS for our first dance and any slower dancing was no problem. I got this dress last min for my 25 year wedding anniversary vow renewal because I was unsure about the more casual dress I’d planned to wear. I ordered it at 2am and was trying ot on my 2pm the same day! And it was so much nicer than I expected! I was worried it would be hot for late June but it was very comfortable. It was too long for me at 5’ 3” and I wanted to wear flats so I cut the bottom ruffle off and hemmed the lining. The bottom row of scalloped lace made a perfect hem line, I thought it was actually prettier that way. I also sewed up the front deep V because it was a bit too revealing for my family event. I sewed on some pearls to accentuate the scalloped lace pattern. I bustled it for the reception and it was very easy to get around and chase my toddler in. I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly, I am 136 pounds. I agree with other reviews saying that it can tend to make you look a little boxy (wider at the top) which isn’t usually a problem for me. Firstly, this dress is absolutely gorgeous. I have never been complimented on a dress so much. I’m 5ft3 and 180lbs. I ordered a large (in the dusty rose, not all white) and wore it without shoes. It’s very long, but if you have heels you may only have to tailor it a little bit. The lace work and details are amazing. The fit was a little lose when I first tried it on, but with a strapless bra and the back laced up it was a perfect fit. It fits true to size, if not a little bit larger and the open back is forgiving if you need a little extra room, id say just make sure the bust is the right size. If you’re needing a beautiful and affordable wedding dress, this is the dress for you. ... show more
