I've had these slippers for a couple of months now, and I'm so glad I ordered them. Here are the things I like about them: the soles are thick and sturdy. If I wanted to wear them outside, they would hold up well, but since I want to keep the shoes clean for indoor use, I refrain, though it's highly tempting to wear them to the mailbox, etc. The soles are also nicely padded - not too little (feels like walking on plastic) and not too much (so much "cush", my foot wobbles side to side). I normally wear an 8W in a woman's shoe. The company's suggestion was to order one size up, and I did and I'm glad! I often have socks on when I wear these, so the slipper isn't too tight. If I'm sockless, they still fit fine (though borderline too big, but not so much that I mind, especially since the "with socks" is the majority of the time). The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I don't know how long they'll last. I've been buying Dearfoams and Isotoner for so long - and they seem to wear out after about 12-18 months. These are my "go to" house slippers. Being retired, I spend entire days enjoying pursuits at home, which has me wearing slippers 10 - 12 hours a day. These anti-slip soles feel secure. And, I enjoy their wide, comfy toe box for my less-than-perfect toes and small bunions. The memory foam works for my occasionally swollen feet. I launder these, and they come out fine. However, because of my heavy use, I do purchase a new pair about every six months. The new pair stays on the first floor, while the older pair moves to the basement for less frequent wearing.
