This review is for the VANGARSUN Women's Victorian Renaissance Long Sleeve Shirts Lace Stand Collar Blouse Tops. The blouse is really pretty and perfect for a gothic theme. It will look good with anything Victorian or even earlier erra as long as you don't need authentic, it just has that flair. The removable collar is a great touch which can be used with other blouses, and if you get the white version it would be a really great contrast. Fit: I always buy a size larger than I wear in US sizes because of how most of these are European sizes, and this fit perfectly in size large. For reference, I wear a size 10/12 usually, or size Medium US size, weigh 175-lbs give or take a few, have a 36C chest and size 32-34" waist. The fit is adjustable thanks to the lacing in back, but I didn't need to adjust it. I think the large will fit someone a bit larger than me, and I "may" have been able to wear a medium even. I do think the large was the right choice, though. Material: The material is very shiny and warm. Even though this is a thin blouse, it is not see-through. It is definitely suited to cooler weather, don't expect to get away with wearing this in the summer. The lace is really soft and pretty, it reminds me of crochet lace it is so soft. Style: The cut and fit are flattering and will work well on a variety of body shapes. I am an hour glass shape and often don't like the flare at the hips, but in this case it works. On a slim, straight body shape, this will probably nock the socks off anyone looking, especially paired with a skirt and vest or suit-coat and perhaps a hat and high-heeled boots. I would totally wear this to the office, not just as a costume, however I am not sure how well it will hold up to regular wear. I think the fabric will be strained with washing, it is very delicate. According to the packaging, you can wash in cool water or dry clean - I would hand rinse after wearing and dry flat. Do not apply any heat to this fabric or you will ruin it. ... show more

I like this top because it is nice enough to wear alone, but also looks great under a coat, vest, or bodice. The seams are well-sewn, with no gaps or puckers. The fabric is polyester, so it can be a bit hot in summer months. This shirt looks awesome with my wife's Christmas caroling outfit. The shirt looks good both tucked in or left out. The buttons are firmly sewn without loose threads. The lacing in the back helps get the right silhouette. I don't care for the end of the sleeves, so I found a different trim to embellish the cuffs. The crevette can be adjusted to a comfortable level when tying around the neck. I also removed the medallion on the crevette so I could use my own brooches. This shirt is a good foundation to start with, but those looking for more authenticity wouldn't buy this. ... show more
