So cute and I get a lot of compliments on them! There was that odor, that people had talked on Amazon, so that I expected, but it goes away pretty quick. The only issue that I had, which really wasn’t-technically, was regular wear and tear. Of course these are not made to last forever, so eventually the silk lining on the Inside came a little loose, but I just glued it back down and the buckles loosen up a little bit after you wear them for a long time. The buckles could get fixed easily, if it ends up really becoming more than it is. The bottoms actually seem like they’re going to last forever and the material is still a nice black velvet! ... show more

Adorable, velvet Mary Jans style shoes. Light and flexible rubber sole. The buckle was confusing at first, as it hooks over the other buckle, however, I find it quite a lot easier to use than regular buckles with my disabled hands. These shoes will NOT be durable enough for a hike, or a long trip up and down the Las Vegas strip. Comfortable, price is great, and the product was exactly as advertised. The only reason for the four stars was that while the seller did indicate the shoes needed to be aired out for a day, we have been airing them out and descenting them for a couple of days with still a petroleum odor.

For a $10 pair of Mary Janes, I wasn't expecting anything great. I have had many pairs of those Mary Janes that is fabric glued to a piece of rubber (that's what I was expecting). These on the other hand, are great! Very comfy and great quality for the price. I see in the other reviews people where having trouble with the buckle (or whatever) and mine where just fine. I am the type of person that would wear slippers all day everyday for the sake of comfort, and for real I feel (for me) these are the next best thing and you look cute as hell wearing them!! I will definitely be buying these again when needed. Get em'! You wont regret it! ... show more
