I bought this dress to attend a formal wedding. This dress is absolutely beautiful and bridal shop quality! On top of that, it’s so comfortable! The lace is not itchy and does not scratch my skin. The fabric looks nice for a formal wedding but has some stretch so it’s got some give for sitting, eating, dancing, overall comfort, and flexibility with sizing. It does not wrinkle so is great if you are traveling with it. It’s true to size. I am just under 5’2. When worn with heels, it is not quite to the floor so keep that in mind if you’re taller.

Very comfortable dress with flattering neckline & drape
I purchased several dresses to choose from for a formal wedding, including this v-neck lace vintage dress in both navy and purple. Both are size XL. I’m in between a 12 to 14 or large to XL. I’m busty (40D) with wider shoulders and the XL fits really well and is very comfortable. I’m 5’5” and the length is perfect. Absolutely no alterations needed and lands at my ankles just above my heels, which I like. The fabric has a nice stretch and drape to it. Just skims right over my “rolly” tummy area. Nice flattering v-neck, not too low or revealing, but still shows some skin. Love the elbow length sleeves that hides jiggly arms, but not restricting at all. I really like the fabric on the bottom skirt portion of the dress - it has a great weight to it and drapes beautifully. The top is a synthetic lace, which I don’t personally find to be the highest quality of fabrics, but it’s ok. My bigger concern is the snag factor potential - I think it would snag easily from your jewelry, but all lace is delicate, so would just need to be careful. The navy color is really pretty, a dark and rich, classic shade, which I’m still contemplating as my option for the wedding. The purple is a bit more royal purple than I like, was hoping it was more of a plum shade. If you like traditional royal purple, think you’d like this one. I’m returning the purple, holding onto the navy as I decide between it and one other dress, but even if I decide to return it too, wanted to share a review of my views on this dress, which overall is very positive!

Beautiful ,quality made dress

This dress arrived quickly and I was very pleased with the dress quality and the fit. I went by their measurements and it fit perfectly. I am normally an Xlarge but it told me that I was an XXLarge. I went with what they said and was glad. It lays nice one and feels comfortable to wear. I am happy with the cost. This is for our son's wedding this fall. Very pleased .

Sleeves are too short, sit above the elbow.

The dress is beautiful and fits perfectly. However, the sleeves are NOT 3/4 length. They sit above my elbows. Not sure if I will send it back as I don't trust that another one would have the correct sleeve length. UPDATE: I ordered a replacement dress. As expected, it is short sleeve as well. The description needs to be changed to indicate the correct sleeve length.

Great quality & fit

Very nice quality fabric in this dress. Great value for the cost. The lace is not scratchy & the lower part of the dress is made from a substantial weight jersey with a nice drape & stretch. The fit matches the size chart. I ordered an XXL which corresponded to my usual size 16. I only have to get it shortened because I’m only 5 ft tall & a petite length was not available. Love this dress so much that I’m going to look at other offerings from this brand.

NOT LIKE THE PHOTOS! Sheer, short, & less lining

The photo of the dress is VERY misleading. We're very disappointed with what we received versus what we expected, so we're returning it. We bought this for our daughter for orchestra concerts, but it's not gonna work. First, the dress is sheer. Like, we held it up against a wall, and I could still see the wall through all 4 layers of the skirt (2 layers, front and back). I didn't take a photo of that since I'm not sure my camera would see the difference, but be aware it's not as thick as it seems and probably would not work with stage lighting. Second, it's VERY short. It's shown to be an ankle-length dress in the photos, but on my 5'4" daughter, the bottom was 2 inches below her knee. You'd have to be 4'11" and shorter for it to be ankle-length, but even then it wouldn't fit you in the shoulders because the shoulders were very wide, even though we bought a size Small. There is NO way this is the same dress on that model who's probably 5'7"+. Third, the photo makes it look like it's only sheer lace in the sleeves (from the shoulders down) and lined everywhere else, but from the bust up, it's all UNLINED. This is not at all what was advertised. Be warned.

Comfort and style
I love this dress so much I ordered it in multiple colors. I am a Wedding Officiant and it is very flattering on my plus sized self. It is very comfortable and easy to clean.
