Overall happy with this gown and it makes me feel beautiful; which is the important thing 💛 It looks exactly like the pictures. The construction/sewing/design is very good. It's the bell shape/a-line shape I wanted (see my pics for the shape/size of the skirt) 👍 I think larger hoop skirts could work with this gown. My hoop skirt's largest ring is 37" and there's still a lot of fabric to work with. Gown has flattering dropped waist and laced corset style makes the sizing forgiving. I'm 35" bust, 28" waist, 37" hips. I got the size 8 and it fits with the laces pulled all the way in, so it you're slightly larger/smaller than their standard sizes there's a lot of room for error. Measure yourself properly because the size 8 looks like the exact measurements in their size chart. Didn't have to make alterations nor hem the skirt either. What makes this gown look cheap (I paid $29.99) is the inexpensive fabrics. The lining is made of taffeta/satin/something polyester. Next, there's 2 plain layers of tulle and then third outermost layer with the glued gems. The tulle looks to be on the cheaper end....what makes this dress look expensive is the sewn on gems/ sequins/beads. The plastic gems are in 3 different shapes and that might bother some, but they reflect light beautifully. The bodice has boning and a built-in bra so it gave my flat chest something. Unfortunately with my particular gown the gems/sequins/beading is slightly crooked near the navel area at the pointed bottom front of the bodice(you can see my up-close shot of the bodice). The color I ordered was red and it is slightly orange, but works with my warm/olive tone🔥🔥🔥 You should wait until you could get this gown at a lower price(I paid $30), but their retail price isn't bad. The quality of the fabric and the fit really exceeded my expectations, however the busy area is rather small - so size up if you have large breast. Get the size that is recommended to you by Amazon because that's what save me from buying a size that may have been too small. Now if you're going anywhere in this dress please make sure someone is driving you because it is not as comfortable cramming yourself into a sedan draver seat BUT i have shown that it can be done if you're trying to drive. What made this dress poof out was a hoop skirt that I had under it, I highly recommend getting a hoop skirt. The color was a lot more darker in person than it was in the listing, that's okay I like it anyways. How you lace it up is through the back, THIS IS A DRESS THAT YOU CAN LACE UP BY YOURSELF. There is a strap inside of it that helps secure the backing sense it's a dress without sleeves . The style wasn't that bad even though the rhinestones are all glued on but no one really cares to notice and for the price it shouldn't matter. The dress was very light according to me since I had the hoop skirt on and it was taking most of the weight. I do recommend buying this if you're in a cinch. ... show more

The dress is beautiful however the color is not accurately reflected. I ordered the dark grey for my niece's sweet 16. Dress came and it is Green, the Ribbon is a teal/green the corset lines are green the underlay of the dress is green PURE disappointment, my niece specifically wanted a grey or silver dress to match theme and this came in and was NOTHING as pictured, we are now on the hunt for a TRUE GREY or SILVER dress. ... show more
