Purchased because I have been wearing a similar pair of shorts for hiking for years. The fit allows room for movement without looking ill-fitting. The material does not wear out. It dries quickly. Does not wrinkle. Multiple pickets which every hiker needs. I will buy more pairs.

Really pleased with these shorts. Roomy fit, good for hot weather, seemed to be quite breathable. They were on sale for a steal. As others have said, the little belt doesn't really do much to support anything, and probably it would be best not to overburden the pockets, but if you're carrying most of your stuff in a backpack, it's a non-issue. And, unlike most women's shorts, they are actually a reasonable length down the leg (without feeling like Bermudas) and have ACTUAL FUNCTIONING POCKETS. Stop the presses, women want pockets they can put stuff in?? You bet your bippy we do.

Love these shorts for hiking. I think they run a bit small. I would definitely size up one. Not super flattering but great for hiking shorts. Super breathable and easy to wash. Also quick drying.

Fits larger than expected. Not as long as expected. The materials to thin for what I'm looking for. But nice looking short for sports or people who require a loose fit and rely on a very thin material when outdoors. 😀 Will be returning for another type of short.

I love these shorts. I have them in several colors. The length is good. Pockets are useful. I wear hiking and fishing often. The belt is effective if you wish to clip anything to it. They have withstood the test of time. Colors remain true with lots of washing. They dry very quickly and are comfortable.

If you’re a hiker or a lover of outdoor sports, this is a great option to add to our gear. One of the first thing I noticed about these shorts is how incredibly lightweight they are. Made with nylon, they are water resistant and provide some sun protection, too. The cargo pockets are small - mostly there for aesthetics, although you could fit a set of keys and a lip balm in one - so the overall look remains pretty polished with clean lines. The little belt at the waistband is easy to adjust and comfortable, but it doesn’t contribute to the functionality in a major way.
