I love these shoes!

These shoes are great.
Size: 8 Wide Color: Black
I work for USPS and have to wear a protective type of shoe. I found a no slip brand that I loved but the place I bought them from closed and I could not find the brand in my size any where. So I started trying to find a shoe that worked for me. I tried several brands but none fit right. UNTIL I found Eastland shoes. The shoe is true to size though I do but the wide because my toes like to have extra room! The sole is thick and doesn't wear down. They have good arch support and the whole shoe inside has cushion. They are tie shoes which I have to have for work but I can make them as tight as I like, or as loose! I am on my feet standing or walking most of 8 hours a day. These shoes are comfortable and don't rub or cause blisters. If you need a good working, walking shoe, this is the one for you. ... show more

No the Eastland of older days
Size: 8 Color: Brown
These were returned. Did not fit. Did not have that true leather smell or feel. Had puckering at the seams like a vinyl type product would. The older pair I owned was definitely a heavier weight and fit true to size. This size 8 was TINY. Same color but for the price definitely not the same product produced before. So disappointed and do not recommend this purchase ... show more

Having a high arch or instep doesn't fit well
Size: 8 Wide Color: Brown
Too tight. No room for my arch. Nice shoe, though. Too small

Very comfortable shoes
Size: 10 Wide Color: Black
I bought a pair of these many years ago and was thrilled to find the same style on Amazon. These shoes are comfortable and I was able to find my size in a wide. I have found them to be true to size. I noticed some reviews indicated issues with the toe box. I found that both shoes had a large wad of paper used to keep the form that was easily removed. However, each shoe had an additional piece firmly wedged to the toe box side. It took a bit work to get these extra pieces out. I wonder if some of the reviews that have issues with the toe box width or finding one shoe fit and the other did not were because of this tightly packed paper. It was so firmly packed I thought it was plastic. Overall I would definitely recommend these if you need a comfortable pair of shoes. ... show more

Way to small.
Size: 6.5 Color: Black
I have small narrow feet, normally wear a 5.5 or 6, wanted to wear with bulky socks so ordered 6.5 I was able to get my right foot in wearing a peds, the left foot on the other hand I was not able to slide in at all. Shoe uppers are very stiff. The bottom I thought would be more rubbery but they are rigid as well almost like hard plastic, I was concerned that you could slip on wet or icy pavement. I really wanted to love these shoes as I had something similar that were quite comfortable and a little flexible. These look nice but are super tight. I did also order a size 7 after I read some of the reviews saying they were tight and they too were just as narrow as the 6.5 just a little longer in the toe and heel area. For those that want to know if you can take out insole to replace with orthotics, yes you can. As for having the shoe stretched , I didn’t want to go to all the fuss and still have a very stiff shoe that needed to be broken in. My other shoes didn’t have to have that done to them, they were comfortable from the beginning. The size 6.5 arrived without plastic baggies covering each shoe, I didn’t find that a problem until I saw that the size 7’s were expertly wrapped and bagged, meaning that I must have received a returned item. Don’t mind that considering you are purchasing an online product. Just putting it out there after all this is a review. Would like to try a 6.5 wide but they are not available at this time. ... show more

Great Shoes for My Daughter, but Watch the Sizing
Size: 6 Color: Black
I got these shoes for my daughter, and they’re perfect for her daily use. The quality is great, and I saved a lot of money compared to other similar styles. However, the sizing was tricky—I had to order a couple of times and exchange them to get the right fit. Once we figured it out, she loved them. Great value, but double-check the sizes before ordering! ... show more
