This dress is GORGEOUS and fits AMAZINGLY. The material is soft. I felt like a ballerina in this dress. You WILL step on the dress, I think? Considering I’m pretty tall, (5’8”) I wore 2” (maybe higher) heels and the dress still had a good inch (maybe 2-3) that touched the ground (beautifully though). Now when it comes to stairs… unless you gather the dress and hold, you WILL step on the dress with every step (maybe unless you were higher heels/are taller than me). For this reason, as I got a bit lazy at the end of the night, I may not be able to wear the dress again as the dress layers are thin and I gave up on picking the dress up for steps. It also got pretty dirty at the bottom that hangs on the floor but I’m confident the dirtiness will easily wash out). Summary: I love this dress and absolutely recommend. I ordered at least 8 other dresses to try and this one was love at first sight 😊 Size: I ordered size 4 which almost always fits me (Calvin Klein dresses, size 4, for reference). I’m very rarely but occasionally a size 2, sometimes size 6 (still occasionally but more likely than size 2 and no weight change, just brand/fit differences). I def could NOT have gone to a size 6 in this dress, but I’m sure size 2 would have worked. I had to lace up the back pretty darn tight to get the chest area to lay as it should. Lacing up: I didn’t see any ‘instructions’ on this so learn from my trials and errors - if you CAN have someone else lace up after your in the dress, DO IT. I laced because I wasn’t about to ask my husband to (he also couldn’t get me in-stuck when my laces were too tight). So if you have to lace prior to putting on, keep them VERY loose, and don’t worry about how the laces look/lay until it’s on as that’s much more easily fixed.
