It's hard to find long jean skirts these days and this one is cute PLUS comfy! I'm 5'3" and it hit right above my ankles. It's stretchy. I used the size chart and it fits right. This will be great for our cold winters.

This is the perfect denim skirt but it is a bit too generously cut. If I am being honest, my measurements fit their chart for size 8. I took a chance and sized down to a 6 per what it says in the description but I should have ordered a 4. The fabric is stretchy enough that I recommend sizing down one or even two sizes if you are in doubt. I think I will keep this one (the 6) for winter wear with sweaters and order another in size 4 for summertime with t-shirts. It's well made from sturdy fabric and looks great with everything. We ordered this in a size 8 and had to return it because it was a little large. The stretchy fabric is terrific and the skirt is very comfortable. Belt loops allow a belt to be used if you load up the very deep pockets. The slit in the back make for easy walking and stretching but does not go inappropriately high. Loved the length, color and fabric. It’s stretchy and comfortable. I’m a size 12, ordered a size 14 to be cautious and it was still to snug. However, I gave it to my daughter and am ordering a bigger one now. It’s a lovely skirt 🎉 the only downside is they run small so maybe size up once or twice. I loved the skirt except for the big waist. I'm 5' 2" and weigh 107, hips 37". The skirt fit snug but comfortable. It's just what I wanted (cute and quality). But the waist was really big (big gap in the back)! I never have this happen. I have a diastasis recti (separated abdominal muscle) which gives me a pooch. I like denim because it helps to hold it in. I'm so disappointed and I don't think I'll ever get around to taking the waist in. I'll have to return it. ... show more

I just went down a size or two since the last time I bought a jean skirt. I ordered a 12 and it fit perfectly. I thought even if it had been a size too small it had so much give in the material it would have fit. There is a slit in the back I wasn’t expecting but I am very pleased with it.

I should have read further. I wanted a pencil skirt, not a-line. I should have tried it on & returned it. I think the ad is deceptive. It can’t be both pencil & a-line. I will have to pay to have it altered. Also, the waist is very small.
