I took these to a wedding. I wore my high heels for several hours, but when my feet started to hurt these were a lifesaver. Especially for dancing. I like the patent leather detailing because it makes them look more like flats and less like ballet slippers. I also wore them for my flight home. I love, love these slippers! When it arrived, it was folded in a weird way. After unfolding it and let it rest, I would wear them around the house later. I normally wear Europe size 36. I wear American size 5 1/2 and sometimes 6. I wore a S with this slipper. It fits well and snug. It’s perfect for wearing indoors.

I purchased these for my mom to wear at my wedding as a back-up shoe. She said that they felt too flimsy for her, like her toe would poke right through the front the shoe. She said that if you prefer a thinner shoe, one that feels like you're barefoot, then maybe these shoes would work. However, she personally did not like the lack of support, so we had to return them.

I can't believe I paid $22 for the worst most uncomfortable cheaply made shoes and did not pay closer attention to them before the return cutoff date. The heel of the shoe is hollow - as in there are "cups" 4 of them in a grid under the foot - where the heel of the foot makes contact with the shoe. It leaves a deep imprint of a waffle grid that almost cuts into my heel in about 10 minutes of walking in the house. I bought them because I was looking for something to wear around the house that was close to being barefoot but keep the bottom of my feet clean and give a tiny bit of support. These are not that for me.
