Taxes - death - and that I should never order clothing without the opportunity to try on first. There's actually not too much wrong with this dress. It's my body that's the problem. What I can say is that the folded top was gappy (I would've had to pin it closed or worn a camisole under the dress), and, the belt came right under my chest, almost like an empire waist which is never flattering on me. I wish the belt had gone all the way around. It just didn't seem to fall at my natural waistline which is lower than where they put the belt. But I liked the pattern I chose, the light weight of the dress and the softness of its material. On me the dress came to just below my knees. The skirt has a bit of swing. The fact that this dress didn't flatter me was disappointing, but if it had flattered, I would have kept it (despite not liking some features of the belt). In full disclosure I bought the XXL for my 5'6, 200 lb frame and it fit well (except for the gappy top), no pulling or feeling tight across the sleeves or the back. Unfortunately my big frame wasn't flattered by this style of dress so I am returning it.

I liked the color and style of this dress but I have never worn it. I have tried a couple of times but the cross of the neck is just too low cut for me. I have not been able to find a way to correct this so that there isn't a bulge or pucker. Maybe one day I will figure something out but for now it just sits in my closet. Should have returned it but missed the deadline.

Love the classic look of this dress. It's quite light, but not sheer. Comfortable for any weather. It was 50 this been and now 64 while I have this on. I wore a cami under this today because it's Easter & I was visiting a nursing home. But I will wear this without a cami underneath when out for dinner with my husband. I like that it can accommodate one for those who want to wear something underneath, but like that it's not so revealing to make me uncomfortable. That being said, this dress does have pockets. If not for the pockets, I'd have been comfortable in a large. I went up to an XL though bc as you can see, I have curves to my hips (even when I was underweight). By going up a size, the pockets don't really stick out. I'd still love to find a dress like this without the pockets. For reference: I bought an XL and I'm 5'3", 189lbs. Pretty dress. I'd buy it again in a solid color or a different print
