Im really pleased with this dress and want to buy more colors. For us bigger breasted girls, the top is very stretchy. Plenty of room. But if your smaller in that area, thats ok because this is form fitting. You can either wear the sleeves down or up. The slit up the one side was perfect! Not too high up so when you sit down it shows nothing but some leg. Im 5'8 tall. Would DEFINITELY recommend purchasing! Very nice casual summer dress. ... show more

    • Needed extensive alterations
Color: Green Floral Size: 24 Plus
The fabric , being rayon is lovely. I enjoy the flattering ditsy floral, the ease if a shirred bodice, as I am busty. I am also short, and intended on hemming to midi length . I did not care for the bodice neck to be so high, so I cut out the elastic, and brought down about 2 inches, then pich pleated in the center to create a sweetheart style, much more flattering . The elastic is cheap, and was one continuous piece for sleeves, and neckline, so, I added my own quality elastic, and more length, as it pulled too tight. Then I used fabric from hem to add length to the sleeves, as that shirt puff doesn't really flatter the upper arms of most of us. There was enough also to make a sash that ties under the bust to add additional shaping. Why buy a dress only to alter it? It took 4 hours, but now it looks like a $100 dress instead of a $40 one. It was worth it, but wouldn't it be nice if manufacturers would pay more attention to the details? ... show more
