I had these shoes for just over a year. The shoes are super comfy and a lot more similar to tennis shoes than your traditional nursing clogs. They don't stand out like clogs do, while still being waterproof. If you like to change up your shoes every year, these are in the way to go. These will start wearing down by the one year mark. That being said they're also not very expensive for a nursing shoe. I purchased the blue steel color and I love them. They complement my royal blue scrubs beautifully. After about six months I had to start using a sharpie to color in the worn and scuffed parts of the shoe. All that being said, I still think they're a nice shoe and $90 bucks isn't terrible for a pair of shoes these days. These would be especially good for nursing school. They meet the solid color waterproof requirement without costing so much college students can't afford em after paying for books and stethoscopes and every other thing you get nickled and dimed for. I recently purchased a pair of Dansko clogs. They are very different from these and I thought it would be hard to get used to. It wasn't a bad transition, but Dansko clogs will run you about $150. From what I've heard, clogs will last you several years. Dansko's are much stiffer than these. These have more cushion like a tennis shoe. If the Dansko's last several years, they will end up being cheaper than these in the long run, but when you're working 12 hour shifts it's not about saving money. Get what works for you.

Found my perfect shoes at last! I have been searching for comfortable shoes for winter, trying, returning, trying and returning again for many months. I am so happy I found Alegria Duette shoes. My feet spread badly when I stand, they have zero form, so I have very wide feet with bunions that can't be fixed surgically as they'll just form again. Standing for any length of time and casual walking have always been painful. I have tried every shoe and every arch support insert made. For the first time in many years, I can stand and work in my kitchen with zero pain in my feet. It's incredible. My podiatrist gave me no hope. I also have bad knees and a painful back - mostly due to my bad feet. But these shoes are giving me back my life. They're high quality with perfect arch support. I don't need inserts with these. And a huge plus is they're not expensive. I already ordered a second pair. Love them!

I’m not sure if it’s simply not an authentic brand or not but it ONE single day of use the “design” rubbed off and turned the shoe turned pink in those areas. I purchased the black and white marble design. I get loads of compliments on the design, however the longevity of this brand is questionable at best. The spill resistant top of your foot portion is crinkled after wearing for 3-4 days. It feels like there is a large ball or mound under my arch. Maybe it’s the shape of my foot. I am giving it three stars because there are a lot of pros. However the price to quality should have been a one star. I will post photos in another week or so with an update. PROS: Stylish Lightweight True to size Large toe box for swelling feet after long shifts. Horrible. The patten leather ones are fantastic, (excellent arch support ), I bought 2 pair. (They’ve been out of stock now indefinitely). Then I decided to try other styles. I bought matte finish, some funky clear color and one other. Each of the latter were horrible. I fell at work twice. I work in a restaurant so shoes/ traction are incredibly important (these have none)!! Now I’ll just go back up the shoe store as obviously these aren’t the Algeria’s’ standards that I used to respect.
