The dress was a HUGE hit!! I'm 5ft 6 179 pounds and had flats on. The dress was just brushing the floor 😍. To say that I loved how the dress looked, felt, and fit would be an understatement! It does snag easy but everything else far outweighed that.

Great quality material! I'm 5'4 and 215lbs I purchased the xl. It zipped right up in the back. No I didn't wear shapewear...lol No stretch! So many compliments. Classic black! I think it's possible to be worn off shoulders depending on size for a versatile look. It's of satin/silky material. Great buy for the price! ... show more

I am 5’4” and wear a 28/6 in most jeans. I wear a small/medium in most tops and dresses. I ordered a medium and it is true to size. that is, almost a bit but i wouldn’t want it snug. the amount of stretch that the fabric has seems to keep it from wrinkling, for the most part. The fabric is a nice weight. it is not flimsy and cheap feeling. it is definitely probably best on someone with a longer torso and taller in general but i’m used to that. it will work. the color is gorgeous. just as pictured. i got the pale pink. i will be keeping it. I needed a last-minute formal dinner dress. Stumbling across this and reading the reviews, I decided to order it and hope I was not mislead. I was not. This dress is fantastic! Fit like a glove, got tons of compliments, and is easy to move in. It was too long for me - even with heels - and I didn’t have time to hem it, so I can’t speak to how that would go. It’s well made (no odd seams or loose threads). The only two cautions I have are: 1) Check your lighting. Light will pass through as it is unlined and a single layer, so lighter colors may have flash photo/bright light reveals (mine is dark blue and I still wore a slip just in case); and 2) The material will snag, so be careful. My handbag had glitter on it and did make small snags as it touched my dress. I absolutely recommend this dress! ... show more

Size purchased: XL, and fits about .5 size too big. I typically wear a Medium (sometimes a L) for a fitted look. The shape and fit is as pictured, or similar. I have a thick hourglass shape, wide hips. It fits very nice but I was prepared to alter so I sized up. L seems like it would been too tight now that I have a reference. My waist is probably 30.5", or size 10. Color: blue, a tad different than pictured Feel: The fabric is lovely. I snagged it slightly near the zipper with an uneven spot on my fingernail. It is delicate. Care- This dress is 95% polyester and 5% elastane. I set my iron to synthetic low and increased a few clicks as I needed. I started with a pillowcase over the dress to get a sense of the heat, then ironed directly on the dress. Go slow and cover the area multiple times to slowly work out any wrinkles. ... show more

I am 5’10” and weigh 188 pounds. I ordered this dress in an extra large size. It is extremely comfortable, nice stretch to the fabric, and it looks beautiful. The only con would be the fact that it’s easy to snag if you’re wearing a bracelet or a ring and it comes into contact with Dress. This dress was stunning…I ordered the green and it was a gorgeous color…I got a TON of compliments. Like a knucklehead, I bought it without reading the reviews and did not size up like most reviewers said. But it stretched enough to fit ALL my curve and still have a cowl in the front, but probably would have been better had I sized up. With that said, I got sooooo many “pulls” in this dress that by the end of the evening I decided to just toss it in the trash never to be worn again. I won’t even donate it. The fabric is very thin, so, every dimple in your skin will show through…perhaps that wouldn’t be true if I sized up. I also sweat a lot when I’m dancing all night…the green, though a beautiful color, was a poor choice on my part. So, if you get swampy like myself, get the black…otherwise you’ll have sweat marks in your sweatiest of regions. 😉 Just some things to consider before purchasing. ... show more

Let me begin by saying that ANY dress (especially occasion dresses) will look a bit different in-person versus online because the majority of these models are around a size 2, so the images we see when purchasing the items will not translate the same on larger, more voluptuous body types. The dress may be gorgeous, but that doesn't mean it will flatter everyone. Having said that, let me get into this particular dress review... This dress is indeed gorgeous and I do feel that the style complements me! My measurements are 36-31-41 and I''m 5'9'' tall, and the size L fit nicely. For those measurements, I wouldn't go any smaller, but one size up would probably work okay too if you want a slightly roomier fit. It stretched just enough that I could pull it over my hips and sit comfortably in it. The off-white is very close to white, although it isn't stark and has a bit of a warmer tint to it. My biggest issue is that the draping on the chest didn't really hang the way I was hoping, even after moving it around several different ways. I'm wider in the shoulder area and am wondering if that's why, but even so, it doesn't have the "cowl-neck" look I wanted, so I opted to send it back. Overall I do like the dress style and fit, but since I can get a similar dress elsewhere I'd rather do so instead of settling for this one. ... show more
