This is a cute dress that could be used for many occasions. It is light and flirty. The tie strap details are really cute and fun, but do add a lot of extra fabric up on your shoulders. I got the green dress and it is thick enough that it isn't see through which surprised me. I have a personal hatred for slips, so yay for this dress. The tie sash is a pretty addition but is loose, so remember to look for it every time you launder the dress. The dress is isn't what I would call soft, but it isn't a really stiff scratchy fabric. The dress looks exactly like the picture. I like how light the material is so you will not get too hot if you naturally run hot. The straps were a little hard to get used to and adjust since they are tie-up straps. I think the only major downside to the dress in my opinion would be the sizing. I am a size large but the dress fit too tightly around the bust and hips. I would size up if you are wider in these areas like me. ... show more

I have been looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and this one is it! I am picky with dresses but this one flatters my curves and makes me feel pretty. I love the material and it just needs a quick iron and will be perfect for a wedding. Would highly recommend!

I purchased this dress for a wedding along with several others. It was a little odd in the chest area which had a gap up top. Overall the material wasn't horrible, it just made me feel very frumpy. The ties on the strap are cute, however, I feel if there was an existing strap and then the tie it would be more functional. The overall length was okay. I did in fact return this dress. I ordered this dress to wear for vacation in summer, and it is just perfect for that. The style is flattering and fitted, and I love the tie shoulder straps. The color is vivid and gorgeous, and the fabric is light and airy yet soft and comfortable. The length is tea length, and the slit on the side is not uncomfortably high. This dress is really nice. The back has that scrunchy elastic material, so no matter how small or large chested you are, the dress will fit. The belt comes separate, and there are no belt loops to keep it in place. But if you wear it at your waist it should stay in place. The length is right, the cut and size are right, so you can order your normal size. The top of the straps are two separate pieces, so you can tie them as high or low as you want the dress to be. It's really designed so that it'll basically fit everyone! The color is also true to the images - I got the emerald green and it's the same shade as the pictures. I appreciate the different ways this dress can be adjusted. The shoulder straps are sent untied so you can set them to whatever length you prefer. They are also long enough to criss-cross on the back if you'd like. The back of the dress is smocked so it's very forgiving of many shapes and allows enough room for bodies as the material is otherwise non-stretch. I did find the dress to hit at an odd length, but I'm 5'8" so it just might not have been designed for someone my height. The sizing is a bit small, but that's common enough with sellers like this.
