The weather turned cold and my feet are freezing . I’ve been wearing Sox in the house but now it’s to cold for that . I have a cute pair of Merlyn Monroe slippers but honestly , I was afraid I was going to trip myself and break a bone wearing them . A brand new pair of slippers are much cheaper than injuring myself and having to go to the hospital . These slippers got good reviews which is why I selected them . They are very well made and totally cover my feet completely which keeps my feet warm . I didn’t buy them because of the cat face , however the cat face is adorable and part of the reason I think they are so well made . The face is sewn on , no eyes to fall off . They do run small though , I wear a size 9 and a half Amazon suggested I size up . When I first wore them my toes touched the toe box . Now that I’ve worn them they fit my feet perfectly , as someone else said , they fit like an old pair of slippers .

These have actually turned out to be more comfortable than I expected, given that they don't have much padding or foam on the bottom. I wanted this type of design so that the slippers wouldn't fall off my feet as many others do, and these slippers have been great for not falling off and keeping my feet warm on chilly tile floors. I can tell that there are some weak spots where they might start falling apart, and the material on the outside pills and frays easily, but I am still happy with them - I don't know of any slippers that are both made to last more than a year and aren't wildly expensive.

I purposely waited to review these slippers to see if they stood up to daily wear and kept their shape. The bottom soles are sturdy and solid, great for running outside to get the paper and to wear in the house while working. The inside is padded and soft, and lined with cozy, warm fleece. The outside fuzzy grey fabric is a substantial weight and thickness that still looks as good as the day they arrived. The fleece runs along the top of the foot and sides, and so far has stayed "fluffy". The only negative is that the sizing ran a little small. I wear a size 9 comfortably, but when I got these (9-10) my big toe was right up against the front of the slipper and was rubbing. However, since wearing them for a while now, the fleece has compacted inside and I have more room to move my toes. I was hesitant to buy these at first because of the price, but now I am glad I did. They are a quality slipper that will last more than one winter season. Oh, and did I mention that they are very cute?!! Being a cat person, I love the look and comfort of these slippers and highly recommend, but check sizing, you might want to order one size up.
