Cozy Without Looking Sloppy

This 2-piece lounge set hits that spot between looking put together and feeling like I’m wearing pajamas. It’s stylish enough that I would comfortably wear it out for a casual, fashionable look, although on my petite frame it does have a slightly bulky appearance. I’m perfectly okay with that because comfort is always my priority. The set is fairly lightweight overall, but the material has a little more bulk to it than I expected. It’s polyester rather than a jersey-type material, and it has a soft fleece lining. Even though the fabric itself isn’t especially thick, the fleece lining makes it surprisingly warm. I think this is much better suited for fall and winter than warmer weather. The inside is incredibly soft and comfortable. As a petite woman, I was happy that the top didn’t hang excessively long on my shorter frame. The pants are a little long on me, but not enough that I would need to hem them. They actually fit right into the relaxed, oversized look that’s popular right now. I especially like the wide-leg style. For sizing, I normally size up in sets like this because I like having the option to fold the waistband down when I want a more fitted look. It also helps shorten the pants a little. With this set, sizing up gave me a comfortable, oversized fit without needing to fold the waistband down at all. The tradeoff is that folding the waistband does make the pockets harder for me to access, but I’m used to that with my height. If you prefer a more fitted look, I would consider sticking with your regular size or even sizing down depending on how you like your clothes to fit. I washed the set before wearing it and it came through the wash well. Because the fabric is polyester, it did pick up a little white lint, but it’s only noticeable if you’re inspecting it from about two inches away—not something anyone would notice while wearing it. Overall, I really like the combination of comfort, warmth, and style. It has that relaxed lounge-set feel without looking like something I would only wear around the house.

I like the top but the bottoms are weird

Love the color on this set. It is 100% polyester and it does feel like it. There are no loose threads so there is some effort in the quality. I like the top more than the bottoms, they seem a little I’ll fitting and bunched up in the waistband/crotch area. It fits we well in general size-wise. I got a Small and I’m 5’4 115 lbs. I like that it’s quarter zip. I’ll probably forego the bottoms and only wear the top. The lining is very soft inside, for the price I don’t know if the value matches up. The construction on the top is good but the bottoms look cheap and awkward.

So comfy and cute!

I’m 5’4” and around 120lbs and the size small fit perfect! It has this super soft and cozy fleece lining without making it too thick or heavy. The waistband is stretchy and comfortable and the whole set overall seems to be made of good material. This is the second Halo Opal set I bought (different style) and both of them have been a 10/10. Definitely recommend!
