The reviewer who said they have pockets must be talking about some other pair of pants. Check the pictures for these, you'll see: there are NO pockets. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of believing that reviewer and now I'm stuck with pants I don't like. I should have believed the vendor's pictures for the product instead. These are 100% polyester and they feel like traditional heavy polyester. In other words: not as soft as satin, not as scratchy as pure wool, instead it's kind of both: soft-ish / scratchy-ish? If you have ever had 100% polyester slacks, you know what I mean. I have owned other clothing items that were 100% polyester which were not scratchy. That's not these. If the feel is important to you, realize now: they will never *ever* get any softer no matter how many times you wash them nor *how* you wash them. The pair I bought are "navy".. if this is navy, it must be "bottom of the ocean" navy as it's so dark, they look black. The fit was tighter than anticipated but since polyester can stretch and polyester doesn't shrink, I decided to keep them. However, if these had been jeans (which are usually made of cotton and thus can shrink), I would have sent them back. Polyester is, unfortunately, difficulty to destroy (unless you burn them.. shush up, voice in the back of my head) so I expect these will be in my closet where I will hate them for a very long while. ... show more

I had high expectations for these pants based on reviews. I purchased them for an older relative in a wheelchair and went up a size so they would be easy to put on/take off. First, the material is not soft, it's weird - stretchy and rough - almost meshy. When stretched out the material becomes transparent. I like these pants. The fit is true size. The fabric is ok. They have deep pockets for my phone and keys. They are good for work as dress pants. I recommend them.
