I needed to buy smaller jeans (hurray!). When I got these I thought they might be too small, but they stretched enough to be quite comfortable. I have now gotten two compliments from relative strangers on how good they look! Boot cut are the most flattering I think, especially for plus size petite women like me. I wish they had belt loops, though. And the petite inseam is still about an inch too long. My dad was 5'10", proportionally balanced, and his inseam was about a 29". I'm so tired of having to hem a 29" inseam to a 28". I can get away with 29" if I wear them with heeled ankle boots, but with flats I'm walking on them. Not certain how well they'll stand up to use. I do recommend them and plan to buy more.

I love how easy it was to figure out my size (which is what it typically is for pants in stores that sell big/tall clothes). The jeans fit wonderfully, although as you wear them throughout the day, the waist does stretch out, thankfully not much. After washing, the waist has so far gone back to the original fit which is great as I've had other brands that once they are worn once/twice, they are permanently stretched out. That fact, along with the softness, thickness, and the seams tell me these are great quality jeans. The one downside is that when you wash the jeans the first three times, there is color which will bleed out of them. It isn't enough to change the color of the jeans, but it is enough to somewhat dye other clothes. As I had ordered on pair and a second a few weeks later, on the second pair, I washed separately in cold with my usual soap and softener, plus a bit of vinegar. Once washed, I dried on high heat and it seems to have worked. Despite the color bleeding issues, I definitely recommend these. Just wash em alone first!

Love! Love! Love them! So comfortable! Very soft to the skin, fit perfectly. I worried they will slide down without anything holding them on the waist line, but they are just snug, fit like a glove. Got Tall ones - for 5'11 - the length is perfect

Nice material, nice stretch... but made ONLY for pear-shaped women who carry their weight in their backsides, hips and thighs. Apple-shapes with thinner legs will find these jeans cut WAY TOO BIG in the thighs... looking like clown pants or baggy pantaloons. Not at all like the advertised picture shown. It's a shame, but seems to be norm for the Woman Within brand of clothing.

I bought tow colors in these jeans. My waist is at the bottom of the waistband, the red pants waistband is too high in front but fits okay in the back.The green pair is too high all around the waist. If I fold over the waistband (red in front) (green all around) it fits better but not as comfortable as it should be. Length is good in the red, but, the green is 1” longer though they were sized the same. I can fix that quality control issue. The recommended size by amazon was 26 petite, I’m very glad I didn’t use that size. Especially since my waist and hips are perfect on chart as 30W Petite. I was surprised that the fabric was so heavy these will be great for winter wear, only. Woman Within has more to learn about the plus size figure. They say, “ At Woman Within we’re the experts in plus size comfort, and we’ve been doing this for over 100 years.” But, too often the fit/comfort isn’t perfect. This kind of waistband used to be popular as a hip hugger in the 70’s now those were comfortable. A tailor might be able to fix these for me. Pros: Great fabric weight for winter, pretty color as shown, good length. Matching topstitching. Cons: Waist fits in back but too high in front. Not suitable (too heavy) for summer(jeans) season. Topstitching NOT as shown in descriptions. Must wear a tunic top to hide the folded waistband. Requires tailor adjustment. Overpriced for wonkie waist. Quality control issues, petite length and waistband not the same in two pairs.
