Exactly what I wanted. The fabric is a medium/lightweight twill. Much lighter weight than denim— more like chinos, but sturdy feeling. The color is more khaki than I would have thought from the picture and name. It has a definite yellow undertone but it’s not super golden or warm. It works really well with blues. I got a tall they were way too long. I usually wear all’s. The waist on them was way too high. I tried to roll them down at the waist. It fit better but not right would not order them again. The material was fine.

Update: I sent the pants back and was issued a refund. The address label to send the pants to was not Woman Within but Roamans. Very strange. I am a big fan of Woman Within. I have ordered from them for years with no problems at all. I wanted a pair of white pants and did my research, read reviews and looked at the photo of the pants. After many weeks waiting for delivery I opened the package and was shocked. The legs of the pants were unusually (very) wide! They reminded me of the old bell bottoms from the 1970s. The fit was great, but I cannot wear these out in public. They just look like clown pants. I didn't see any other reviews mentioning this problem so I'm not sure what the issue is. I like the loose fit. There is a little extra fabric at the stomach but that probably varies depending on the individual person's shape. I like that they are roomy but not baggy and have useful pockets. They give the jeans look without feeling too heavy or tight. They fit like scrub pants if that helps anyone. The tie at the waist also probably gives the look of more under your shirt but not too much. ... show more

I really like the jeans and they are very comfortable. Fit well. I like the color of the med. blue denim. Fabric is a nice weight. Not too thick or stiff. I ordered the petite and glad I did or they would have been too long. I am 5' 2".
