I LOVE these jeans! The last pair I ordered -- a different style -- required a belt because I was constantly pulling them up. They fit, but not like these do. These don't need a belt, yet they're not tight, perfect length, and the fit is far better than all my other jeans. I was hesitant to order them because jeans are really difficult to get right, which is why I've been wearing only knit pants and sweats for years now -- but I still prefer jeans, so I'm delighted, and I'm checking them out in other colors (except for purple, pink, white and . . . okay, I'm checking out only the blue ones. These are black, so I think now I can get rid of my worn-out sweats and even toss out my black tights. BTW, did you know that sweats wear out in the butt and can't be mended there, but jeans never wear out beyond wearability! ... show more

I have worn a certain brand of jeans, w/ a bit of stretch, for years. I loved them for the fit, and the colors they had-in addition to the many shades they came in several shades of blue denim & a variety of other colors, that changed every couple of years. But, they’re being phased out-OF COURSE. I’ve ordered a lot from Woman Within over the years, but I never had much luck w/ any of their jeans, because I’m SHORT & average sizes are 3” too long & petite sizes too short—till now. I decided to try these because they had a bit of stretch & an amazing selection of colors. I decided to TRY the petite version, actually because the color I wanted wasn’t available in average—& they’d need to be shortened. The petites fit PERFECTLY! Just the right amount of stretch to have a bit of give, but not so much they didn’t feel like denim. I liked them so much, I bought 2 more pairs-AND, they have some gorgeous spring shades, so I’m buying 3 more pairs so they don’t sell out on me! I bought the emerald green(the ones that caught my attention-the color is SO pretty) the blackberry or burgundy & the light khaki . Going to buy the light purple, yellow, light green—& maybe others. I'm hard to fit. At 5'11" with a high waist, straight hips and long legs in a plus size (24 long). I need a 34"+ length with a straight hip. I often have to buy mens jeans. But these jeans fit well and I like the colors choices. They are a little baggy through the inner thigh, but they fit well overall through the rear, waist, hips and legs. They are not cut for a rounder hip or full rear! They are as shown. They run true to size with a long leg length. They may shrink slightly with washing, but come back with wear as they have a little spandex. They may bag slightly in the legs if sitting a lot, but again, washing brings them right back. Sometimes the waistband is a bit loose as I have a curved waist, and the back can stick out a little when sitting, but I haven't had difficulty with tops bunching up when hanging over it. They are mostly a medium weight and normally durable. They wash well, are mostly wrinkle free and color fast, with very slight fading. I've owned several pair over the years in different colors and some wear better than others with weight and color. They don't tend to stain or bleed in the wash. I like them for color variety, but I prefer the heavier, stretchier Lee jeans for regular blue jeans. ... show more

Very comfortable and great leg length! My first order took almost a week and a half to arrive and was not pleased about that. However my second order arrived much quicker, less than a week. I would recommend these jeans.

I love these jeans from woman within. They have stretch, come in short lengths, extended sizes and colors. My only qualm is consistency... There are fairly big variations on color and sizes ( ie among 2 pairs of tan and gray colors, and size 22 and 24). Otherwise my favorite jeans.

Many problems. Amazon suggested a size for me and I followed the suggestion. These are not your average blue jeans. They are stretchy. I measured the jeans when they came and the measurements were true. To be honest these are also my measurements on the low end of 22 tall. But when I wore them I was constantly pulling up my pants. Really big in the thigh as well. These were expensive and I don't believe I can return them after removing the tag. So I'm $70 (2 pair) out of pocket. This is why I dislike buying jeans online. Also, I'm tall 5'10" and the 34" inseam is a bit too much but the regular inseam is only 30" to short. I'm glad some made this work, but very disappointed in my purchase. ... show more
