I have some 3/4 length boat neck shirts from Woman Within. For those, I followed their fit guide and ordered a medium. They fit beautifully. I did the same for this shirt, and I should have ordered a large. This definitely is more fitted than the other style I bought. If you want a more fitted look, go ahead and follow the size guide. I wear an XL in most tops but always an L in Woman Within. I've been a fan of this company for many years. The sleeves on this particular tee are snug (in their other tops not) on me but not tight, so there's that to consider. I love this tee and now have three of them. I love that the sleeves are almost to my inner elbow bend. It's soft and comfy. It's good thick fabric, more for late spring and early fall in my climate. It washes well except that the cuff always needs a little finger straightening before I fold them. For casual wear I've never ironed the cuffs, but if I wanted to look super good to impress, I would. I do love this top, but the neckline is enormous. I have this problem with most tops, and I have narrow shoulders, so it doesn't work for me. I usually try to alter the neckline by sewing an alteration. I stitched up the edges of the neckline in this shirt to improve it, and it helped, but it's still too big. I'll definitely enjoy it despite the big neckline, but I wish manufacturers would stop creating tops where the neck is so big it just slides down my shoulders. I ordered the wrong size but only very slightly so. If I was more stubborn i could have worn it out but it was tight at the arms. I gave it to my mother in law and I think it looked great. Vivid coloration.The fabric is very thick so maybe this is a fall- winter type shirt. I'm curioua to see how it holds up to a wash but at this price, one might be able to try this one out. ... show more
