The eternal search for the multi-functional, wear-everywhere-do-anything summer pants is now over. I have found them. First, I am a young 40 year old, so anyone reading this under senior citizen status, don't be put off by the brand. This brand has ah-mazing clothes, you just have to dig through a bit. These pants are incredible. They fit well, and if you wash them on cold, let them hang dry, they are good as new, never shrink. They fit true to size, and are incredibly comfortable because of the generous "give" in the thighs and down the legs. The elastic waist might be off-putting to you, but just wear something to cleverly camoflague it if you are that concerned -- I really am not because I could care less what people think, so long as I feel good -- I think if you exude confidence, no one is looking at your elastic waist and thinking "OMG she is wearing ELASTIC?! --fake fainting episode--." You can wear these pants without rolling the legs up, but at 5'8", I find they make a very odd looking tapered leg, so I keep them rolled up. That said, I can dress them up, dress them down, and they are also the perfect pants for work at home days, quick runs to town, dog walking, and anytime I leave the house, really, because they look more put together than sweatpants and yet I don't have to spend hours getting ready. GET A PAIR. Or better yet... buy two. One for you and one for your friend who also cares more about comfort than being fashion forward. We all have that friend. That's why they're your friend.

Really adorable and comfortable pant. I'm normally a size 16 but usually wear a 14 pant. Thought I could get away with the14W, but it is slightly too small. If I lose 5lbs or so, they will fit marvelously. These are light weight and perfect for summer with either a trainer or a sandal. The color is as shown in the pictures (Indigo). However, perplexed that shipping took longer than usual for prime (8 days).

I like these pants because they are comfortable, loose fitting and they are convertible to capris (almost). What I don't like is: the price and the fact that the seams in the front area are pulling apart.

The pants were very comfortable. But they were very tight around the thighs and ripped easily. I think if they were a little less tight on the thighs and had better stitch fixings that it would be perfect.

update: neither Amazon nor the seller would issue a refund to me. They fell apart with holes and ripping seams the third time i wore them to the office....the reason i was denied was because i waited for just over the 30 day limit.... i feel let down by both. PLease do not buy these pants and do not buy from this company because they do not care about the consumer, the product and their service is terrible. Sadly these cannot be worn and have to go in the bin. I am seriously considering never buying from Amazon again. Woman within usually have good clothes but this item was abominable. I am disappointed at the quality of the stitching because most Woman Within clothes are very well made. I wore these to the office today.....I wear them gently..... and someone asked me why my pants were split down the side from the waistband to the hip showing my underwear! I bought these just over 30 days ago so I cannot return them...anyway they are worn, although not yet washed. I asked the seller if a replacement was available under a quality guarantee. The woman within website rather than the Amazon, has better return conditions. Lovely pants but this disappointed me. update...three times woman within have refused a refund and responsibility for selling me a 'lemon'. Buyer beware. Terrible customer service. I will never purchase from this company again.

I love the wide comfortable elastic band. The ample length is superb for my almost 36 inch inseam. The gun metal color is great and looks better in real life. They will be worn for numerous occasions and or gardening. There are large pockets on the side of each leg which will secure the phone and or note pad and pen. The legs are loose fitting and overall they are extremely comfortable. They would work well for traveling, too. I will be ordering other colors. Thanks

I used to love these pants. Lovely pockets, comfy fit, even more pockets. Quite nice. But lately I’ve been having issues with these pants, the same size pant will fit different ways. Sometimes it’s too tight at places, others it’s a nice comfortable relaxed fit. Same size, same order. Very different. The waist/hip pockets used to be useful deeper pockets, but lately they’ve been oddly shallow with only an inch deep near the entrance to the pocket, causing things to fall out when you sit down. And the fabric quality used to last, I could wear them for a year without issue, and now I keep getting major tears after several months, heck one of the pairs I just bought just ripped randomly within a few weeks! When they are good. They are very good pants! Love ‘em! But lately they are way too inconsistent for the price point. If they were $20 that would be fine. But these are almost $40. And I don’t like having to keep shelling that much out for a roulette of pants quality.
