The most striking thing was that the watch roll exceeded expectations. After reading many reviews and watching many videos on Youtube, I knew I was going to get something which is well built. When I received it, it definitely exceeded expectations. The packaging is done so well, I seriously thought that I was buying something seriously expensive. It was to a point where I started to feel that it was too well done after pulling off layer after layer of packaging. But, the look and feel was fantastic. It felt like opening the box of a luxury watch! When I laid my hands on the watch roll, I gasped. It felt really solid and well built, almost to a fault. In fact, the only complaint I could have about it was that the roll was heavy. It uses very good materials, which adds to it's heft. That part I did not expect. But, if it was lighter, it would probably feel not as well built. So, that's a catch 22 situation there, but I would rather have it this way. Overall, the cushions inside are very soft but provide sufficient structure to hold a watch. The rings which separate the watches too are of the same material. The inside of the roll is lined with the same material to prevent scratches to the precious watches. The latch has 2 positions, the outer position is used when holding thicker watches. One note would be, I doubt this case can hold large watches, such as those of 44mm in diameter or more. I wear 40mm watches, and these fit fine. There is some additional room to move, so it could hold larger watches such as 42mm watches. However, given the fit, I doubt it would hold larger watches such as Panerais. ... show more

Wolf is known for their use of high-end materials and this case is no exception. The materials are all top-notch, both inside and out. Beyond that, the case is sturdy and protects watches when traveling. My issue is with the design itself. The rings or cuffs don't really stay in place. This is notable as they are the sole defense from watches banging into one another. Other cases, including those by Mirage address this much more elegantly and securely, eliminating this issue. Those cases also do it for less money. I wouldn't mind paying a premium price if the case had a better, more secure design. Unfortunately it doesn't. I'd recommend going with another case leveraging a better design. At the end of the day another case will do a better job protecting your watches, even if the materials are not quite as supple. ... show more

Perfect for what it is. IMO next to watch winders, this is what Wolf does best. The quality of the materials is equaled by the quality of the craftsmanship. While I have traditionally only traveled with one watch, maybe two, this allows me to travel with one on the wrist plus up to three in safe and secure storage. I've tested it with watches on bracelets sized for my 7.375" wrist, and they sit secure on the roll. I would be entirely comfortable trusting this watch roll to my nicest watches. I get the gripe some people have about having to remove the entire roll to remove the watch, but it's not an issue for me personally and IMO does not detract whatsoever from the use, quality, and elegance embodied by the purist design principle of form following functionality. Well worth it at the Amazeballs standard Prime price of $69, and a no-brainer a flash sale prices. Just wanted to clarify that the dividers are two rings that can slide around on the center roll (I thought that there were three individual rolls so that you could just pull out one watch when you were ready to wear it); the dividers are fully removable if you don't like the look, or adjustable on the roll to accommodate different watch sizes. The watch roll is ready to give as a gift as it comes with some high-end looking packaging, including its own dust cover (which says Wolf), and in a very nice Wolf box with a card about the history of the company. I can already see that having the design completely round is kind of annoying because it rolls around when you set it down to manipulate it with both hands, but other than that, it is a great value for the price, and I would definitely buy this again as a gift for someone else. ... show more

I certainly do not recommend this purchase. The watch roll has a bad design flaw which basically gives no room whatsoever between the watch crystals and the roll's closure so that watch glasses are constantly rubbing against the roll case when it's closed. From the side view, you can see how all watches actually protrude out and then you can easily imagine how the watch crystals and bezels will constantly rub against the roll case closure. This is a very well made and attractive watch case. I think it offers very excellent value for the price asked. Most cases at this price point are not made of real leather. Bottom line, I liked this Wolf case very much and wish I could have kept it.. But, I had to return it because all my watches are sized for my 6.5 inch wrist. The roll on which you place the watch is too large to accommodate the bracelet of my watches . ... show more

The quality of the product is great. However, i would expect a separate watch pillow instead of one long pillow. At this price providing individual watch pillow is an must and its convenient. Other than that, its cool and study.
