With a little practice this will remove the watch band pins. Is very nicely built and doesn't feel cheap. If you need to change a watch band, this will do the job

    • It's the little tool you didn't know you needed
For an old guy like me that still wears conventional watches, this little tool is actually worth every penny . I'm sure there's more expensive tools and probably cheaper this is good enough for what you need I mean how many times a year do you change your watch bands now that they have the easy change spring bars on a lot of the straps you're more likely just to use it to get the old ones off. This tool is tiny. just a couple inches long. I have been unable to change my spring bar due to the fact that I can’t get any leverage, and the end point is too small to get a hold on any spring bar. Will have to go and find another , larger tool

Unfortunately, this tool made replacing my watch band much more difficult than it should have been! Handle needs to be longer in order to get good leverage & the prongs also need to be a bit longer & deeper. It eventually worked but not without a struggle

If you're planning to change your watchband (or switch among them frequently), just buy this tool. It's beautifully made, very sturdy, and makes the job *so* much easier. I managed to pop the old, tattered band off my watch and replace it in less than five minutes. I haven't been this happy about a purchase in some time! ... show more
