This stand solved my problems very easily. Since my seat is about 6 inches above the floor of the boat, I needed just a little more to achieve the right seat height. This stand is perfect for boaters that have a low seat height or the seat needs to be just a little higher! Installation was also easy. The stand comes with slots on both top and bottom that fit standard swivels or seats and is easy to attach to the boat. Only WARNING is that this stand is designed for lower operating speeds and not intended for use on larger, main seats. it is designed and intended for "fishing/trolling" type lighter weight" seats and use.
