This is a well build, strong product. The webbing sheds water and absorbs much of bouncing on a rough ocean. This is the second boat seat I purchased in 2 months. (The first one was an economy model from the same company that didn't hold up under rough water and my weight, I weigh 215 lbs) And it is FANTASTIC!! I truly enjoy this seat... I use a Highfield Rigid bottom inflatable boat for all day fishing and let me tell you, it is Extremely comfortable and wide for all day and because of the mesh bottom and backing, no sweating...! When I'm bouncing on the waves, no backaches. I mounted it on my yeti cooler with a swivel base and I can turn in any direction the fish pulls me... Would definitely buy again.... ... show more

    • Very comfortable in hot weather
My only beef with these chairs is that they did NOT bolt to my standard 5-1/4" swivel bases. The seat base bolt holes appear to be configured for 5" bases. Nothing a little dremel work on the swivel bases wouldn't fix, but still. The seats are very firm and at first I thought they'd be uncomfortable. After fishing from them for hours at a time it turns out that they are excellent, offering good lower back support. They are larger (width/height) than most boat seating and appear to be robust in construction. Time will tell how they hold up, but so far I'm quite pleased with them and feel they were worth the money. ... show more

liked everything about this seat till I read the fine print which I must have missed on the website that said you cant sit in it at over 5 MPH. no doubt written by their attorney

Great seat. Comfortable. The only issue is the hardware included to mount the seat. Absolute junk! Go to the hardware store and buy decent stainless bolts and nuts. You would think for the price they would send 5 star quality hardware to mount this 5 star quality seat!
