I live in Alaska and my Yorkiepoo cannot handle walks in the snow without booties. But omg is it hard to find good boots for a 6 lbs dog. I tried A LOT of booties before finding these dog UGGs. Friends, random strangers go crazy over these boots. Everyone thinks they're adorable and yes they are pretty cute. But honestly I really don't care, after my long booty search just finding a boot that works and stays on is all I want and these fit the bill. Size info, I put her paw on a piece of paper and marked the 4 sides of her paw to measure them. I think she was between a 2 and 3 so I got both. At first I used the 3 and they do work but they're big on her and I have to pull the Velcro strap really tight. The 3s also fall off more easily. So now I get size 2s for her. They fit snugly and perfect. She's a 6 lbs Yorkiepoo for size info Fyi they're not water resistant at all, if it's 33 degrees or the the snow is wet at all her paws get wet immediately. And if you used these in the rain I think these boots would be pointless. They get soaked through in a couple minutes. They're work great in the snow though. When it gets down to 15 degrees F, she can barely go outside without the boots. It's 15 here right now and she can handle about 3 minutes outside before lifting up her little paws and crying. When I put the boots on and her full snow suit she can go on about a 20 to 30 minute walk. She probably could last longer but I worry about her ears and bring her in after that. Also for durability they last longer than I thought they would. It's been a winter and a half and most of the boots are still doing good, she has a couple sets. A couple of the booties have started to wear out so I'm ordering a new set, but for the low price of $16 it's not a big deal. These are some of the best quality dog boots I've been able to find and they're very cheap. They do fall off occasionally fyi, but it is not bad at all compared to all the other booties I've tried. I always try to glance at her feet occasionally on walks and if I notice one missing I try to find it. Also when a booty flies off she starts lifting up that paw and having a hard time walking so I need to put it back on. When they do come off it's usually because she gets the zoomies and his flying around at top speed or freaking out pawing at a snowball and trying to rip them off. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These boots are exactly what I was looking for as a winter footwear option for my dog. We live in Minnesota and winters are very extreme here. I wanted to get boots for her to protect her paws from frost bite and damage from sidewalk salt. I like these boots because they are lined with faux fur, which helps keep her paws warm. The velcro straps also make it easy to put the boots on her (as long as she cooperates lol). The bottom of the boots are rubber which helps with the waterproof factor and salt protection. The boots are also super cute and we get lots of compliments when she wears then outside! Some things to consider is that the boots fall off easily if you don't strap them on tightly. There have been a few times where my dog deliberately kicks them off while we're outside. We also get A LOT of snow living in Minnesota, so it doesn't completely protect her feet when she walks through the deep snow. The height of these boots come up above her carpal pad, but snow will get stuck in the boots if she walks in snow taller than the height of the boots. She comes inside wearing the boots and she gets our floors wet from tracking in snow. It takes awhile for these boots to dry too after snow gets inside them and melts. These boots are definitely for small/medium dogs, not large breeds. My dog is medium sized, about 26 lbs with long legs and I think they're the perfect size for her. ... show more

Pros: Opens all the way up & easy to get paws in Cozy & cute Good protection Measurements were sized correctly - paw pad matched perfectly My dog loved running in them Cons: My dog flings them off no matter what I do. They physically could not go any tighter on her legs - even making it the tightest setting on both little velcro pads in the back. In hopes of keeping them from slipping off, for the 3rd attempt I made suspenders out of elastic bedsheet straps, clipping the boots to her jacket...nope...they still flung off and at the end of the walk she looked like she was wearing a spider costume Paw pads fit perfectly but they kept slipping off her legs Since they were slipping off, she was slipping on ice and kept face planting in the snow and on the concrete Since they were slipping the boots were also easily ripped on the sidewalk by the 2nd wear IDK what else to do, after 3 attempts, I don't think I can use these ... show more
