This shelf is going to be perfect for all of my wine and liquor. It has racks for the wine and glassware, shelves to place other types of spirits, and looks great! It was fairly easy to put together compared to some other products I have purchased in the last, and is definitely a two person lift because it is very heavy! If you are looking for a place to keep your wine and spirits like I was, this is the right choice. I looked at several before settling on this because I wanted something that had an open back to see the exposed wall behind it!

The fit and finish on this thing is… well.. terrible. Thin veneer peeling up from the corners of panels, warped metal work, mis-aligned joints, doors that don’t hang plumb, a drawer that doesn’t fit on its slides…. If you can dream it, it can be out of square on this thing. If you are sharp with a level, and have a couple wood shims around, you can get this thing in good shape, but it’s not going to come with a lack of effort during the build process. All told, it looks nice, and hey, we decided to keep it after all the effort of getting it into shape. My only remaining complaint are the thin 1/8 luan + veneer back panels. Honestly, I would have paid more for them to be made of something more substantial. One might consider upgrading those with something or your own manufacture.

instructions are laughable at best, zero quality control going on, nothings square, holes don’t line up. Not sure how you’re supposed to return after you’ve assembled it. If you want to spend hours tweaking everything to get doors to open and close than go for it but your going to want to take a baseball bat to it before you finish installing. No more cheap amazon furniture for me, straight rip off DO NOT BUY!!!

This isn’t the easiest thing to put together. The biggest problem with this is the instructions. The makers took the idea approach when making these instructions and it’s almost to a fault. The fitment on the panels is not great. Some holes aren’t drilled to exact dimensions causing very slight misalignments. The metal doors for my unit were also bent enough to not close properly. I had to take the doors off and beat them straight with a rubber mallet. The wine holders aren’t the best at doing their job. Wine bottles slip off of them very easily. This can be rectified by adding friction tape, but this should have been resolved by the manufacturer with silicone covers or anything for that matter. It’s cheap, and it seems to do the job. It won’t be an heirloom and it may break if you ever try to move across country with it. It’ll do its job, but it’s far from great.

Very happy with the quality and sturdiness. Not difficult to assemble but some of the hex bolts are in difficult places to get to and limited to about half a turn at a time. My pre drilled holes for the screws were not drilled sufficient so I had to re-drill those slightly. Otherwise, great product
