Very happy with the shutter panel pegs. Initially I was concerned that they would only support vinyl shutters so I contacted the business owner. Their response was immediate, courteous and helpful. They assured me the pegs would support a 15 x 59 wooden shutter but advised using 6 pegs rather than 4 suggested in their product descriptions. I have about 25 shutters on a two story home and these clearly eased the installation process. I added wooden spaces and used 6 pegs per shutter. Worked our fantastic! Great product, great service! If attaching to brick I'd advise using a hammer drill (cheap) and carbide 1/4 inch bit. ... show more

    • Great for fixing loose shutters
My shutters were banging in the wind sounded like someone was trying to break in. Used these no more noise shutters are once again tight to the house. These worked very well.

They were easy to break if they didn't go in perfectly straight. But overall did the job of reattaching the shutters damaged during a storm.

The spikes were similar to the o es was replacing. The quality of the spikes was fine. Installing replacements is nuisance because your have to remove the old sheared off shafts. That has nothing to do with these spikes in particular. Installing new is simple. Drill pilot hole in press I to place. They will bend if you are not careful, but they all will unless the spike has a steel shaft. I would buy these again. ... show more

Pricey for what they are, you may need to trim some for length, they could be a little stiffer...but they worked satisfactorily.
