I bought this chain net mostly because I like the sound it makes. Every time the ball drops through and you hear that metal clink, it's oddly satisfying and makes me want to keep shooting. It's durable, easy to install, and adds a little extra motivation to get outside and practice.

I had a cloth basketball net and those are for losers. The Wilson chain net is where it’s at. If you want a sturdy net that won’t tear or disintegrate because it’s 100 degrees outside, get this net. You won’t regret it.

This is a great product, my one and ONLY complaint is that the hooks come off every single time a ball hits it. We had to put it on and crimp each piece to stay on which is fine. There is no rust so far, the thickness is perfect, its durable and its so much more fun for the kids than the rope one that crumbles from the sun! Got this to replace a shredded nut on our cul-de-sac basketball hoop. Metal is good quality and has been able to withstand all sorts of weather. Only thing I had issues with is the loops to secure it to the hoop. They didn’t secure snugly on the hoop and parts would come down when the kids were shooting. I was able to clamp them down tighter with some pliers to make them more secure. Haven’t had any issues since and all the kids love it ... show more

Excellent product, right size, right fit, good quality. You want be disappointed. Buy this one! I have used chain nets for years and saved a lot of money by not buying cloth nets every year. It is understood you have to use pliers when installing the attached S-hooks to the rim.

Solid. You can’t beat this price. Pro tip: Once you have all the metal hooks on the hoop, you need to use a pair of gripping pliers to bend each hook closed. After that it isn’t going anywhere. I personally used a pair of Vampliers to do the job.
