    • A unique spotlight with a cliche problem
Size: 20 inch 90W
The first thing you should know about this light is that is has a fairly unique design to where the reflectors of each LED are all angled to the same general spot. In turn, effectively making this a spotlight in the form of a lightbar. I can't say I wasn't expecting that when I received it. Of course, this is going to be up to the individual and the application of whether or not this will be a good thing or a bad thing. And to be honest, I'm not entirely sure where the best place to mount it would be, given this configuration. My gut tells me that a bumper-mount would be the best, but I'm just not sure. The light itself is more than adequate in it's brightness. It's housing is solidly constructed of metal with integrated heatsinks. They do get a bit hot when left running for a more than 5 mins. Now, let's move on to the thing(s) that I really didn't like about this product. First and foremost has to be it's lack of, what I call, "user consideration". What this entails is manufacturers and/or companies putting themselves in the user's shoes and, thusly, providing the user's with the appropriate features and/or accessories. Sadly, this is not the case with this product. That being said, with my 20in lightbar (that actually turned out to be 18in); they were kind enough to supply me with a bare-basic mounting kit. No problem. I can work with that. But that was ALL I got. No extra wire, no heat-shrink wraps, no electrical connectors, no switch, and no in-line fuse. Not even a cig-lighter plug. The wire that comes out of the fixture itself is only 10 inches (~25cm) long. That's it. That's ALL I have to work with. Where I'm from... we would call that a "rookie mistake". Because of this lack of kit, I can NOT say the installation is "easy". Since you'll have to run around collecting all the bits that the light didn't come with. This, of course, also puts a huge damper on "functionality". Final Feel: It's a good off-road lightbar with a unique light configuration, no doubt. Plenty of light output to go with it too. But once you start pricing the extra components you'll need to actually get this thing mounted and working... your total price increases and there goes any savings or "value" you thought you were getting when you first saw this item. I ordered a 44in LED bar but they sent me a 48in bar. Ok may be a mistake, so I requested a exchange but they sent me the same 48in I just sent them back saying "when we measured our warehouse it was the right size". I guess the LED bar expanded 4in when travel across the galaxy ! hahaha
