Based on other reviews that said the masks run large, I ordered a child size. The face part was perfect but the ear straps were a bit small. I used this mask for a crocodile costume and it worked really well. It was a good cheap alternative to a full on mask.

    • Breathable comfort with a smile
I've had lots of compliments with this mask. I like to make people smile and these masks do that. They are big for my face, but once they are washed, they fit better. I wear glasses, and my glasses also help hold the mask in place. These masks are comfortable, breathable and I can talk without them going in my mouth, like some masks. I have the giraffe, koala, red panda and penguin masks. I work retail and the customers and my co-workers like the funny faces on these masks. ... show more

    • Easy to add a nose wire!

Glasses wearers: Don't be put off by the lack of a nose wire. I cut the nose wire out of a disposable paper mask and was able to insert it into the Wild Republic mask without even cutting a hole... the stitches and the material are stretchy enough that you can work the wire in through the seam. I actually inserted two for an extra-snug seal around my nose. (See the picture for how I did it.) The adult sized masks are big and comfortable. I've got a large head (XL or XXL hat and motorcycle helmet size), and these masks fit me quite well. Folks with smaller heads might need to shorten the earloops somehow. The mask is two layers of material, thick enough that it feels like I'm getting some filtration, but no so thick that it is hard to breathe through. Five stars because (even though some of us will need to DIY the nose wire and earloop length adjustment), the masks are inexpensive, well made, and FUN. I needed some of that last right about now. ... show more

The reviews said that the adult size was huge, and I'm a small adult for whom most adult sized masks are too big, so I ordered the child size. It's tiny :-( It is indeed child sized, probably suitable for an 8-10 year old. I can make it work, as it's really only for a one-time effect and some photos, but I'm Goldilocks and I need a "medium", not "baby size" nor "big daddy" size. I wanted it for a costume, not to wear all day. It does feel pretty comfortable to wear though, so if it were the right size for me, it'd be a solid five stars. This mask, specifically the tiger, is by far my 5 year old’s favorite of many we have tried. The straps are too big so we shorten and adjust them using small rubber bands. These masks are not only eye-catching and cute, they were comfortable enough to get me through this plague halfway sane. I find it very hard to continuously were a mask; it feels as though I can't breathe. These cotton masks didn't erase the problem but did ease it a good bit.
