This dress is cute, short and has long sleeves, just as described. I'm not sure how to describe the material, it kind of feels like a very thin and stretchy suede. It is soft and feels nice but weird to the touch. While I like the fit of the dress, I think the cut is kind of weird around the hips, like it doesn't naturally hug your body, there is a curve in the dress that you won't fill unless you have an hourglass figure. (you can barely see it on the photo where I'm wearing the dress). This is a mini dress, but since I'm 5'6", it is not that short that I'm uncomfortable to wear it. ... show more

I'm always a little hesitant ordering cuts of dress like this due to my size/body shape, but this was a big win. I can fit in a L/XL/XXL depending on the cut of the item, but mostly fit in an XL and this was a perfect fit. Not too tight so that I am pulling it down or it's shimmying up, and not too loose so it is baggy or frumpy. I will probably use some shapewear to smooth out panty lines, but it doesn't reveal cellulite and you could likely get away without using anything extra. I am 5'4'' but have a longer torso and shorter legs, so I struggle with dress lengths -- this hit mid-thigh perfectly so I'm not worried about it being too short or inappropriate for casual outings. Overall, this will be a great fall dress that can be layered for a casual look or dressed up to go out. ... show more

I really like the cut and fit of this dress. The cut is flattering and it’s form-fitting without being too tight. The fabric is soft, comfortable, and thick enough that even light colors are opaque and not at all see-through. It is versatile and can be dressed up or down. I got the Light Apricot color and found that it looks different from the photo on the product page. It is more of a light pink than a true beige/apricot. I really didn't know how this dress would work out for me, but I absolutely love it!!! I tend to be overly critical of my body and how clothes fit since I am not as toned or small as I used to be, but I was so pleasantly surprised with this dress. I am 5'5, approx 145 lbs with a 38C chest & about a 32" waist, and the large in this was just right. Slim fitting to show my curves without being too tight, clingy or uncomfortable. I can't wait to wear this for a date night with my husband or a girl's night out. Comfortable also- the material is hard to explain, but it has some structure without being too soft or too stiff. It's my Goldilocks of dresses. :) My one complaint is the mid back area kind of sits slightly awkward as if maybe expecting more or less back fat or for someone with a longer torso than I have, but it doesn't affect how great it looks on too much. ... show more

Overall pretty good material. Although I must say it is very very short.. to the point if you bend over slightly your goods are definitely going to be showcased. Best to wear with shorts underneath( undergarment shorts ).
