Wow, what a find! I recently discovered this Wiholl brand, and I have ordered several tops from them with great results. This particular sweater is extremely well constructed from a silky-soft knit, and the color is stunning — sort of a warm cinnamon-y terracotta. I’m typically a size 13/14 and a bit of a shorty, so I generally order an XL in tops to keep them from being too clingy around my middle. For this style I took a gamble and sized up to an XXL, hoping that with its fine weight it would drape beautifully and float just a bit away from my torso … more like a tunic. And it does! For me (5’ 3”) the hem hits at low hip, giving me the versatility to wear it with jeans OR leggings, and my lower hemisphere is nicely covered. The icing on the cake is that this sweater is easy care, and it can be laundered in the machine. I plan to turn it inside out and wash on the delicate cycle with cool water, and then place it in the dryer for 5 or 10 minutes before smoothing it into a towel to finish air drying. The garment tag states that washer and dryer are fine, this is just me being cautious because I love this sweater so much! *** Because I rely so often on the reviews of others when I purchase on Amazon, I give my honest opinion about items such as this in the hope that you’ll find it helpful, too.

This is a comfortable, beautiful sweater. The knit is smooth and incredibly soft, with a tight weave. It looks much more expensive than the price would suggest, and can easily pass as cashmere or merino wool. The "dark green" is a rich emerald green color that I love. This sweater simply pulls on with no buttons or other fasteners, and has a ribbed neckline, cuffs, and hem. It is a nice layering piece. As for sizing, I am 5 foot 7, weigh 175 pounds, have a 36C bust with narrow shoulders, a short torso, and a wide but flat derriere, carry most of my weight in the middle, and wear a US women's size 10 or 30 pants (medium size pants and joggers at Old Navy and H&M and large size shirts), or a woman's 10 or 12 in dresses. I ordered this sweater in a large size, and like the fit (see my pics). I am happy with the quality, comfort, and aesthetics of this sweater, and would not hesitate to order again from this brand.

My pictures don’t do the color of the sweater justice. It is a rich, jewel tone, a lovely dark green. If it’s true to size. I wish I would’ve ordered one size larger for an oversized fit, but that’s on me. The stitching is nice. All of the scenes are even and nicely sewn. There is no peeling on the sweater so far. It’s a great closet staple, a basic crewneck in a variety of colors. I chose the dark green and it’s beautiful. I’ll be able to pair it with black, brown, navy, or grey. Can be dressed up or down, and I will wear it to work quite often. I like the fit of it so much. I may grab a few other colors and it will basically be my working uniform, a different color of sweater every day. The sweater is an easy, grab and piece, simply grab whatever colored sweater you want for the day, and a pair of jeans for a casual look or skirt or trousers and some jewelry for work and I’m ready to go.
