And you thought you couldn't teach your cat tricks? Guess again! Our 12 1/2 year old Tabby/Ocicat, Mimi, is shown here as she leaps from one climbing tower to the other in pursuit of these delicious (smelly) Salmon Treats - she love them! As I open the bag, she reaches a paw for one and will follow them anywhere. They are pure salmon and very reasonably priced. I had ordered one bag to see how they would be received and, now that I see how much she likes them, I will order more right away. Just be sure to chop them up - some pieces are too large and hard to serve as is. Introduce your cat to these and plan to take her to TV tryouts!! ... show more

I bought these for my sick kitty who loves salmon hoping to get him to eat more. Or anything else. Unfortunately he didn’t like these. I think it was a texture thing for him. So I gave them to my neighbor and her cat loved them! So just like any cat treat it just depends on your cats level of pickiness. As far as the product, it smelled like fish and they did crumble easily but that’s ok too. My neighbor used the crumbles as a wet food topper. All in all a good product in my opinion. ... show more

OK, Amazon asks you to rate this by "Flavor", "Value for Money", and "Scent". So, flavor... I refuse to taste them, but if I go by the reaction my cats have to them, this is the tastiest stuff that has ever existed on earth. Even my Mr. Picky Eater will crunch on this. Value for money... They're a little pricey, but considering what you get I think they're a good value. It's just salmon, freeze dried into crunchy, puffy, pieces. Nothing else. So if you consider how much salmon there really would be in this little bag if you reconstituted it, plus the effort of freeze-drying it, it's definitely a good value. As for scent, well, it depends on who you ask. To me it smells like a wet wharf on a sunny day, and not in a good way. To the cats it smells like something worth ripping a drawer open to get to, so I went ahead and gave that five stars. I bought some of this at the pet store accidentally a while back, and my two cats went nuts for it. So I just got a big bag to use for training, because it's something I know they like. I wish it was in smaller pieces for the training aspect because I want to give little bits at a time to keep the incentive going; it's in random chunks and you do get a fair bit of fish dust in the bottom of the bag, especially after breaking some of the bigger chunks into cat-sized pieces. But I mean, it's dried fish so how would there not be fish dust? If you've got a cat that's finicky about treats, unless they're weird little fish-haters I think they'll go for this. ... show more

My kitties love the taste of these, but the size of the treats is super inconsistent… some are teeny little pieces/crumbs whereas others are half the size of my thumb. Because of the really big ones I either try to break them in half (messy) or I will monitor while they eat to ensure no choking. Ideally though, one shouldn’t need to worry about their pet choking on a treat… Tldr; kitties love the taste but mom worries about choking hazard ... show more

We usually purchase the 2.5oz package and purchase them often because our cats would live on these things. Decided to get the 7.5oz this time but he just doesn’t seem interested at all. He still begs for them like he’s a pen addict (suppose he is) but then he just doesn’t seem interested in the offering. Here’s the twist: we lost his sister 2 weeks ago tomorrow so it may just be his mood because he is grieving. The product is mostly bits and larger strangely-shaped pieces. Not the cubes the 2.5oz packages are. I did learn that the best quality comes from buying from the manufacturer, The Whole Life Pet Products Store. Whereas before I just purchased from whatever seller on Amazon. I’m puzzled … is the product less appetizing than my previous purchase on May 20, 2023 or is it just my cat? The difference is $12.79 and $34.99 to my bank account and an unhappy cat … both of which makes me very unhappy! ... show more
