My son loves these books, but buying them individually would be super expensive. I was shocked to find this complete set at such a great price. I was worried they might be lower quality or something but the quality is great. Doesn’t come in a fancy box but kids don’t care about that. Great buy for 10 yr old
My son devoured these books and it send him on an educational spiral learning more than he ever wanted to know about certain animals. He loves the "battle" aspect and comparison of facts/data of the animals. Well worth the purchase to buy the whole set. It's not a read once and forget either like I thought it would be. I bought these books for my son who is 6 years old. He looks at the books at school and wanted the set for at home. He is not able to read them yet (he reads at a D level) however, he loves to listen while I read to him. I was disappointed when I bought them how they came packaged in just a thin bag that was open, I counted and had to make sure all the books were there. These books are lots of fun. Two animals or insects are contrasted and the reader guesses who would win in a battle. When my daughter reads them out loud she invites everyone to vote. It gets the whole family involved!
