I have been wearing barefoot shoes for about 5 years and go completely barefoot as often as possible. These shoes are cute and breathable. However, there is toe spring making the tip of my toes feel crowded and the width could be wider for people with a large splay. I had to size up even though the chart indicated that I should be able to wear a 8 due to the toe spring. I do appreciate that the insoles are removable giving me a true barefoot experience with zero drop heel and no arch support letting my foot support my body. I started to buy these last year but did not, and then they disappeared from the store. I saw them just a short time ago again and decided not to wait again!! I have several pair of Whitin barefoot shoes and they are great. The only issue I had was one style came 1/2 size bigger than I ordered, but it’s only a fraction of an inch and I found that if I wear both insoles, it makes up for the difference. I love the wide toe box and the barefoot fit. They are very comfortable; the first time I saw barefoot shoes I said no way I could wear them…but I don’t want anything else now! Also, every “loafer” style shoe I ever tried on made my foot look SO long abs narrow…the rounded toe of these is much more “normal” looking and so comfortable for my toes to have room to fit normally - not squeezed together like lots of shoes do. I totally recommend Whitin shoes for comfort and value! ... show more

I've had a bunion for a very long time, finally had surgery last year so my foot is super sensitive. BUT the bunion is back and I still need wide toe shoes, which are SUPER hard to find in business casual, that are also cute and comfortable. These shoes fit all of those requirements. I went ahead and purchased 3 more pairs in different styles. Why on earth I waited so long is because I've tried DOZENS of shoes that claim to be comfortable and wide toe, but let me tell you, that is a hard ask, so I was in disbelief.
