I have put about 100 miles running on these shoes so far with very little wear (some on the heel). The fit is as described. I have average foot width and these fit very well when tied tightly. I like the wide toe box for splaying when running. I have used Merrill and Altra zero-drop shoes in the past, and so far these are every bit as good for running.

I have always had wide hobbit feet and I can’t ever find shoes that fit right. Even 4E Nikes or New Balances squish my toes. These feel actually like wide shoes and they are not the cheap foam material of other Amazon shoes. Im a high school coach and I’ve worn these all season with not ripping or tearing on the seams. 10/10 product! They need to make basketball shoes because nobody in the market sells wide basketball shoes and these guys could change the game.

I’ve always had trouble with finding good shoes for my wide feet until I found the Within line. I have 2 pairs of casual style Within shoes and love them. Overall, I love the “within” line but the heel support can be a little thin due to the “zero drop”. These have a little more support at the heel which works really well for my workouts. These are great weight lifting shoes, and great for most cardio machines. Not a bad running shoe either but not going to compete with On-Clouds or New Balance running shoes. Don’t sleep on these, they’re great for the gym!

I have several Altra shoes (Escalante, Superior, Solstice), and these Whitins have the most spacious toe box. Love that I can comfortable wear toe separators inside them (not as doable for me with my Altras). The stack height is most similar with the Escalante. Considering the price, an excellent pick.

The shoes themselves are fine so far. they fit fine, look fine. no bad notes that I've noted except that the 2nd & 3rd loops from the toes are glued in for some reason. If you have a small flathead screwdriver it's an easy enough fix if you need to replace your laces (I like mine a little longer so I replaced them already which is how I found out). It's not a big deal for me, but I don't have any dexterity impairments and I shouldn't have to break out the toolkit to replace laces. Personally, gluing the laces feels shady to me. There's not a reason I can think of for them to do it other than to frustrate the customer into ripping the eyelet or just giving up and getting another pair. I'm keeping it a 3 star till I wear the shoes a few months. If they last I'll bump it up and chalk the glue up to a bad batch or incompetent manufacturing.

Probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn and I have tried MANY!! Can't even tell you are wearing them. I even wear them at home in the house sometimes cause they are so comfortable. Having said that I have not wore them to work yet. I work on concrete all day long and I'm not sure how well they will do for that as there isn't much to the soles or tread but then again I come home from work wearing very expensive shoes that are supposed to be good for concrete all day with my feet hurting and as soon as I put these on my feet actually feel better almost instantly so maybe I will give these a try for work also. But as for walking the dog, working outside, around the house, shopping etc I love them!!

I normally buy the Altra Lone Peak 6 but they stopped selling them. These appeared to have the same specs. Zero Drop & Wide Toe. Got 'em, love them and they are less than 1/3 of the price. I will only use them for walking so I can't/won't comment on them as running shoes.

I had a bad ankle sprain about three months ago and had to move a few weeks later. I'm already bad at taking care of myself so needless to say, my ankle has just started to actually heal and these shoes have been the most comfortable pair I've worn since the injury. They allow your foot to spread out and for a more natural stride. I mainly just walk in them, and they have actually helped in my recovery and my goal of wearing "foot shaped shoes". Hard to see as a running shoe though. The only thing I would pick at is that they feel and look a little cheap, despite how secure my feet feel. I think if the shoe were $20-$30 more this could be an excellent zero drop shoe. I have struggled to find comfort in $160 shoes but that may say more about me... Great everyday shoe and fit like a glove, but could be a little better in quality. I see wear issues in the near future, but hopefully not!
